“Swung by mid afternoon on 3/18 for a quick pick me up while biking to work. The barista was an absolute sweetie and made my iced latte to perfection! Those rum infused beans really are something, especially in the Coquito (personal favorite)Plus, this space is big enough to work in which is great in itself. Definitely will be stopping by again soon!“
“Energetic cute little coffee shop with boozy coffee options, which I couldn’t try but heard are popular. The barista is very friendly and informative. The place is clean and decorated. I only wish the music was a little less loud but otherwise a great experience.“
“Wonderful place! The coffee was perfect and the empanadas were so tasty. A must stop for me for NY mornings.Special shout out for the guy who helped. He was very knowledgeable about their coffee and was helpful exploring the different drink options.“
“787 is a Puerto Rican cafe with multiple locations around the city. I've been to a couple now, and I love this place! This location in Soho is quite small - there's only one bench with a couple of small tables. They have so many unique drinks here, and they have different alcohol-infused coffee beans too. If you like their beans, they do sell bags of them, but just a warning that they are quite expensive. My boyfriend got the coquito latte, and I got the chocolate chip cookie. The latte was really good! It was sweet, but not too sweet, and the coffee flavor wasn't overpowering even though it comes with a double shot. I didn't know that it would come in a cute pouch, so that was a nice surprise! It seems like the iced drinks come in the pouch, and the hot drinks come in normal cups. I didn't have high expectations for the cookie, but this has actually become one of my favorite chocolate chip cookies in the city. It's a very thick cookie, and it has huge chunks of chocolate in it, which I love. We did have to wait a while for the coffee since there was a line, and there was only one person working there. But I appreciate how this place stands out from all the other coffee shops in the city, and it is now one of my go-to cafes!“
“This is my favorite neighborhood cafe; I've been coming here since the day I first moved into UWS and has been a regular ever since for over 1+ year. Great-tasting and beautiful coffee with a cool vibe, lots of seating area to get some work done (though there's no WiFI) and has a good food options as well.“
“The modern uprising cafe shop in china town. Their signature Pandan Latte is a must-try! The unique blend of pandan flavor with creamy espresso are great blend. Coffee taste is also very nice without too sweet and not overdominating the coffee flavor. Very interesting and unique menu blend, i would love to go and try other drinks again when i am in china town. Despite doyster st and chintown is busy, the service was quick for how many people were grabing drink there.Dietary restrictions: Alternative milk options, dairy free and decaf coffee“
“not to miss!it’s a lovely and well-located space. food was great (i only tried the salmon pretzel and it was delicious), coffee was fantastic.the only downside is that it gets very packed and there’s way too little sitting space, so don’t count on eating in:)“
“Soooo goood!!!! I've ordered so many times from here since I first tried it and it hits every time! The coffee is so tasty. The breakfast burrito is soooo yummy, the refried beans on it gives it that cali breakfast burrito taste. The bacon egg and cheese? Bomb. The pancakes? Fluffy and buttery and perfect. The waffles are great too. This place is a treat. 10/10.“
“It was nice meeting you Anthony, thanks for chatting with us about coffee. I loved my mocha and Tony enjoyed the Ecuador pea berry, very tasty. You have a really nice coffee shop and coffee offerings. Hope to keep in touch and visit again.“
“Coffee was exceptional! Best we've had in New York. The Barissta, was friendly and genuine. One of the highlights of our New York holiday was meeting Marcella - one of the locals, a legend, an incredible woman who clearly is a beautiful and enigmatic soul. Loved it all. Grateful and thankful to you all.Loved Harlem❤️“
“Lowkey spot in the Horizon Media building. They brew a Stumptown blend as their coffee and Black n White for their espresso. The drink was well-prepared but the blend itself didn’t have any notable flavors. Good vibe to chill with friends or do work.“
“I love this coffee shop because the barista are friendly and helpful even taking your coffee up to the second floor if you ask. The coffee itself is excellent and there is an artistic flare to the place that shows that someone who runs this shop, has a real designing eye but there is a problem. When the weather approaches 32°F it is absolutely freezing in this small two-story building. The barista is obviously cold and for a customer it is borderline unsafe. Otherwise this is a great place.“
“I came here with a friend for breakfast. Usually I come to grab a latte to go but we stayed this day. The place is clean and spacious, and has lot of seating area. It was a bit crowded as many are working on their laptops. They have free wifi.We placed our orders quickly and grabbed a table. It didn't take too long before they brought the lattes and the food. The service was quick and everything was very tasty. I ordered the panino al Crudo and the focaccia was crunchy yet soft, nicely toasted. The mustard sauce adds a nice favor to the prosciutto and provolone cheese. Highly recommended. My friend had the egg sammy combo with hash brown and drip coffee. She upgraded to a latte. Her feedback is also everything is very tasty. It is a great place to hang with friends or grab a quick lunch. I'll bring friends next time if they are in my neighborhood.“
“Spent multiple breakfasts here. Excellent hot americano coffee. Avocado toast was solid. Oatmeal with berries was a disappointment (barely any berries, and the oatmeal was super-watery). Nice sunlit atrium in the back of the restaurant if you can snag a table there. Easily place to use wifi and take a call.“
“I ? Buunni. Proprietors, Sarina and Elias, live in and care about our community. They are so much more than local successful business owners. They serve wonderful Ethiopian coffee and now fresh delicious Ethiopian food! They host neighborhood events and support local artists. Can't say enough about them and their cafe! Congratulations on earning a Nextdoor "neighborhood fave" award. ☕??“
“Ordered a latte since I’ve been meaning to check out most coffee places in Greenwich Village. It was good, and I’m impressed by the decent pricing. Better pricing than other coffee shops nearby. The quality was good. The only drawback would be that it isn’t just a coffee shop, and as a result, coffee isn’t the main focus of their business. So if you just want coffee, perhaps there other places will satisfy your needs. This is more deli-like. ?“
“I’m from Michigan & my husband found this coffee company online. We ordered it & it’s so smooth & delicious. So when I planned a trip to NY to see my favorite band perform twice over the weekend, I bet I made a trip to see them in person & stock up. Highly recommend Gotham Coffee if in town or to order online & ship to your home. Diner Coffee is perfect when you just need a great cup of Joe!“
“Had Cafe Latte with whole milk, coffee is strong and perfect for my taste requirements. The lady in the store seems to be pro at her work and she has good knowledge on the tastes of diversified people. Her art on my Latte made my son so happy.Dietary restrictions: Option of milk is preferred.“
“cute coffee shop. it’s giving slightly scandinavian vibes but doesn’t try hard. very kind workers with bright spirit. walked into the barista bonding with a customer over a mutual friend? or mutual location they share memories at? either way service was amazing and coffee was fine. a little expensive $5 for a black coffee? oh well. would recommend just to brighten up my day“
“I truly enjoy the atmosphere, great servers and the manager came by our table to ask if the coffee is OK and if anything else he can do for us. That show that he cares about his customers happiness. Over all it truly is a great place to have your coffee and relax.“
“A takeout specialty store. I had a latte and an Americano and both were very good. The coffee was moderately strong, and as the store promotes it as a specialty, the acidity and heavy coffee taste are well balanced. It's one of the best coffees I've personally ever had. The price wasn't bad since New York is so expensive. I don't think New York's service is that friendly compared to other areas, but that's about it. It's not a friendly place, but it's not an unfriendly place either.“
“Came here to pass the time before happy hour. Yelp suggested it and it had great reviews. They are smaller but have some tables and window bar seats. Wifi is available, outlets near the walls It started becoming busy at around 4:30/5pm ish. There was only one barista but he was pretty great with taking orders and making drinks, it was a long line but went by quick. I got the iced americano and it was a much needed wake up to a very early/long day. Would come back!“
“Small space, perfect for a quick stop. Both the drip and the cortado we had were amazing! And I would definitely recommend the lemon honey cornbread slice, it was delicious! The drinks already come standard with oat milk, but that would've been our choice anyway, so it worked great!“
“I've been wanting to stop at a Coffee Project for awhile now and the opportunity finally presented itself. I came by in the early afternoon, and it was already mostly full, but I grabbed a table quickly. The light coming in here is so wonderful, and I just love how much space there is. The baristas were really kind and attentive, asking about my day while I waited for them to take my order. I decided to try their seasonal latte which was black sesame flavored. This latte came out to $8+ which is, in my head, absolutely way too much for a latte especially for the size of this cup. $8 is the price I generally pay for boba, and even then it's hard to justify, so this was difficult for me. The latte was really nice: smooth coffee, not-too-sweet black sesame coming through, but I likely wouldn't get it again because of the price. The vibe is unmatched, though! Appreciate the space that it offers which is big but not too noisy at the same time.“
“With the firm belief that one of the biggest virtues of a coffee shop is availability of seating, I reckon 4 stars is what this Devocion location deserves. Good drinks, fine decor, but wow is it a frustrating wait (oftentimes neverending) to get a seat. The Brooklyn location is a lot better on the front of seat availability for whatever reason. I feel entitled to write this review after generous tipping. Anyways folks please be warned“
“While on a quick trip to the city I stopped in for a refuel and I was not disappointed. What we got: My husband tried the iced ESPRESSO CREAM LATTE I ordered the iced EINSPÄNNER What we thought: Both lattes were so deliciously fragrant, and a perfect balance of sweet, bitterness, chocolatey and floral notes. I enjoyed it so much, I returned for another one on the same day! Understanding there are tons of coffee shops on every corner in New York City - this would be a solid Sunday morning choice!“
“I'm a regular customer here. Nice little place right next to the taco restaurant. Staff is really prompt and efficient, and their coffee is really great. They have a pretty nice play list of music on the background great ambiance for a little coffee break in the middle of a day, or while you are waiting. Chek them out!“
“We stumbled upon this place, realizing it’s a place we were years ago. Service is still great, coffee still amazing. No flat white on the menu, but the Cortado is equally delish. Oat milk they serve is Oatley. And today, our take away coffee was made with a bit of extra love, see picture. Thanks guys, love it.“
“While I enjoy a good coffee shop atmosphere. I felt like the staff was having a pow wow about customers the previous day before. Overhearing snickering and talking about customers in a negative manner is really unprofessional. I hope that they understand that they are working and to gossip isn't part of the job description.“

“Delicious, fresh kale & chicken salad delivered as room service in Hotel Hugo.Perfect portion of dressing, lightly flavouring the kale rather than submerging it. Chicken grilled to order and still warm when it arrived.Top job and exactly what I needed after a long flight.“
“Super cool experience! We've gone two times now and it is always delicious and creative! More expensive than regular Starbucks but the quality is definitely there. The Whiskey Barrel Aged Malt was amazing! So smooth. Service is a little slow but it's just because it's massively busy. Definitely recommend!“
“I recently popped into this coffee shop in Flatiron. The atmosphere is fun. Plenty of seating. Professional equipment. The branding pops. I just wanted a snack, no coffee. It was one barista working there and usually in NYC a solo barista means surely attitude. This barista was friendly and her vibe was chill. She suggested the olive bundt cake. With that service I decided to try their coffee. Immediately, I enjoyed my espresso. It was well balanced and flavorful. I'll be back definitely. The staff made me feel welcome and the cake was delicious!!!!!“
“Came here to pass some time, got a delicious coffee & rhubarb scone. Very, very busy place….lots of loud kids and dogs, and then there is the gigantic screen with rotating photos of the city…would likely be quite lovely on a summer day sitting on their porch?“
“I wanted escape Rockefeller, where my teens were doing all the basic tourist business. I googled "best coffee near me" and Google did not disappoint. I had a vanilla latte which was finished at the perfect temperature to enjoy immediately❤️ I will be back tomorrow for my breakfast coffee.“
“Cute, busy little coffee bar off Lexington 4/5/6. Has all the little accoutrements that you’d want in a true coffee bar: the bar itself, water on the side, a vanilla bean steeped simple syrup, and good baristas. The latte was a bit foamy for me, and the croissant was decent. Lots of seating, everyone on their laptops (even on the weekend mamma mia ?)“
“There's something truly delightful about pairing a latte coffee with a vanilla scone and a matcha tea. The creamy richness of the latte perfectly complements the sweet, buttery goodness of the vanilla scone. Each sip and bite is a symphony of flavors, creating a harmonious blend of comfort and indulgence. And let's not forget about the matcha tea – its earthy, slightly sweet taste adds a refreshing contrast to the richness of the coffee and scone. Whether enjoyed as a morning treat or an afternoon pick-me-up, this trio is sure to brighten your day and leave you feeling utterly satisfied.“
“TL:DR - great food, cozy space, beverages are hit or miss depends what you get. 4 stars. David the barista is great! 58th st location.Details:Service 5/5 - shoutout to David for the exceptional customer service. super cramped in here but it's kind of cozy. They have wifi but it's super intimately spaced and I feel like I'm going to break my neck on those stairs, this place is short people friendly.Food: tastiest chicken Empanada I've had in awhile that isn't from the Criollos chain. It was juicy without being wet and flavorful. Wepa!!!!Drinks: my buddy got the Tres Leche and I had fomo because that thing was GOOOD. Drank half of hers lol. I got an iced Coquito latte because I'm a sweaty human even in winter and it helped regulate my temp but the taste was just OK. Her drink was hot and I was happy to sweat for it.Note: the iced drinks come in those clear bags with a straw like when Covid started allowing people to drink out of plastic bags from bars. We went to pick her kid up from tennis and I looked like an unhinged day drinker trying to relive spring break.Misc: Stopped by with a buddy to wait for tennis to let out over on 1st ave. Got a chicken Empanada, a Tres leche coffee and a coquito *flavored* latte. ( they have actual spirit infused stuff but i didn't get that).“
