“This place is hands-down, so good. Are usually get the Arepa with chicken and avocado and it is so delicious and so simple. I also usually get rice and beans and plantains and some empanadas. Everything is so delicious. You can tell that it's very authentic and it's very quick and easy to get. The service is very friendly and fast. I usually do take out from this place but they do have some seating, but it's very minimal.“
“As a Venezuelan-American, this place does me so proud! I just noticed this little gem during Hispanic Heritage month since they had balloons outside, and I don't know how I missed it before! I called my family immediately and that same week we made dinner reservations.The tequenos, arepas and cachapas are SO good and very authentic. “Patacon is venezuelan food. If you like to eat sweet plantains, this is the place. It's one of those fast food truck place-order to go only. I had a "yoyo" a choice of chicken, beef, or pork. I had the chicken. Basically it looks like a gyro instead of getting the pita bread, you get sweat plantains with lettuce and tomatoes. “I have been getting this for years , food is amazing, staff is friendly and welcoming, you can always order a head saves you lots of wait time. They are organized and have a great system. I now travel from upper westchester down to NY to grab some great food from here.Parking: Hard to find a spot near the street, but can go around to find a spot.“
