This was our second visit and not as enjoyable as our first. The food was wonderful, again, but it was very crowded and noisy and the wait staff seemed a bit overwhelmed so service was lacking.
Amaranth is a New York classic!Delicious food, friendly staff, upscale atmosphere. Whether you are here for a business lunch, romantic date or a special occasion - you will have a great time!Love their salmon with asparagus and delicious dill sauce and chicken paillard! Highly recommended!

Delicious food and great ambience. My friends and I ordered the branzino and the risotto with scallops. Both were absolutely fabulous. The ambience, lighting and attention of the staff was stellar.
