This is a great place on the Upper East Side with great food that is innovative but also traditional. Everything tastes so good. I had the salmon omelet with french fries. I prefer egg white only. It was cooked perfectly with great seasoning and flavor. Traditional fries that tasted fresh and salty, just the way I like them. The service was perfect and attentive. Strolled in off the sidewalk, and they gave me the last table on the patio. First days of fall-like weather. Good food. Good service. Highly recommend when you’re in The 212.
We stumbled upon Amaranth completely by luck on our first visit, and it blew us away! The hospitality was warm and welcoming, the menu was phenomenal with incredible taste in every dish, and the ambiance was perfect. A special thanks to our waiter, Carlos, who provided truly excellent service and made our unexpected find an unforgettable night. We'll definitely be back!

Based on the reviews, Amaranth Restaurant is a gorgeous and charming restaurant near Central Park and right off Madison.
