Great customer service but bagels weren't good. Seemed very processed. Soft but not foot.

This place has fresh bagels and meats and Lox/fish. It stands out from most of the food venues in East Harlem. It's definitely expensively prices though. Prices you would find in Manhattan below 96th Street. It is worth the prices if you are looking for fresh food and bagels. Not certain if this place is dine in. I don't think so, but I've been to this place before 9 AM and earlier on most occasions.Wheelchair accessibility: The store is on street level. Easy enough access

Man I went here because I needed coffee and like a bagel or something. I went in. I got a hello. But then was ingored when I tried to put in my order. THEN I moved up because I saw the guy put in his order in at the register. He kept hitting on me. I was trying to get my coffee. Then I tried to get the women’s attention and she straight up was texting on her phone then took the person that just walked in. I was so uncomfortable. Clearly they didn’t want my money and clearly no one noticed I wanted to order so this dude that kept hitting on me made the experience even worse. I cant rate the food because I didn’t get a chance

The bagels are average at best - on par with bagel carts, but slightly less stale. Of the four bagels I purchased, three had green dots on the bottom. It didn't look like mold so we ate them anyway, but I can't figure out what they are... it looked like ink drops. There were a few tables and some window bar seating, which is nice to have, especially in a neighborhood where basically everything is take out only. The cashier was also super nice. Cream cheese on the side is sold by weight, $10/lb (same price for plain or flavored cream cheese) - the smallest container is about 4oz and was $2.99. Four bagels + two small containers of cream cheese ran me about $15; reasonable for high quality bagels/cream cheese but these didn't really cut it for me. *$10 minimum for credit cards* supposedly there's also a cash discount (as posted at the register) but I paid cash and there wasnt any discount. More likely they mean they add a fee to credit card transactions.

Avoid this place. In June, I received a bagel with spoiled plain cream cheese - I took 1 bite, instantly threw up, and threw the bagel away.I order from here very regularly, to the point where they know me by name, and hadn't had an issue until now. I decided to handle this nicely because they always provide great/friendly service. So I gave them a call to report and resolve this privately.I hadn't ordered again until today, and the same thing happened - spoiled cream cheese yet again. 2 bites, vomited, and threw it out. So this time I'm posting a review for others. This place clearly isn't keeping the cream cheese fresh, and/or utilizing FIFO properly. It's incredibly dangerous and only a matter of time until a customer gets very sick.I cannot return, and I won't be ordering again. It's really unfortunate because this is the only bagel shop in the neighborhood.

I had bacon and egg on a roll, a quintessential NYC staple, and they nailed it! The roll was fresh, the bacon and eggs generous. It was piping hot when I unwrapped the aluminum foil. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast, rounded off with a coffee, light and sweet. Bagel Tree also has a comfortable seating area with both tables and chairs as well as stools along the front window. I had breakfast, but the menu looked extensive. Great variety for any time of day. Plus, as an added bonus, the employees were friendly and welcoming! I'd definitely come back!

Good!! Good!! Goood!!! This place is a local treasure!! We normally do breakfast in jersey before crossing into the City to work; trying to stay within reasonable breakfast pricing- talk about getting a bang for your buck!! $$$$!I normally order a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll- my boyfriend orders turkey, tomatoes on an everything bagel- in NJ we have paid as much as 19.00 for 2 sandwiches - at bagel tree - less than 13.00!!! Good food!!Good service!!Attentive to details!!Clean and well organized!!Convenient!! Everything we have tried there has not let us down!! Super satisfied and will keep coming back!! Soo whenever you're in the area - upper East Harlem- try it!! Buen provecho!! Bagel Sandwiches. Breakfast Sandwich. Everything Bagel.
