good bagels but not the best in the city. cheapest i’ve found for bagel and schmear. got my classic egg everything with tofu cream cheese - bagel was doughy but not crispy enough and cream cheese wasn’t as smooth as i like. still a quality bagel but not my top.

The food is good but feel like every month their prices change. I normally get 2 sandwiches used to cost me 11-12 bucks depending on the time. Then went up to 13-14. Went in this morning and they charged me 16 bucks. Good people though. But if you want bang for your buck. There’s deli at every corner and the one in bleecker across the street from the school is more bang for your buck with delicious food.

Would be 4 stars since the bagel was ok but no seeds on the bottom half is a cardinal sin so -1 star for that

Sometimes I’m taking a leisurely stroll around the village and I need a bagel cause I’m gonna sit down with it at the park across the street and take my time with the bagel and coffee may be a copy of the New York Times. This is the best place. Other times when I’m on the run trying to catch the train before work I need to get a bagel and this place delivers fast. They have a great warm fresh chewy juicy bagels with excellent selections of cream cheeses. They have one of the best selections of tofu-based cream cheeses in the city great for us dairy free folks highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Try the wide selection of tofu cream cheese is perfect for vegans and vegetarians.

Egg sandwiches could be bigger given the price honestly. Pretty decent sandwiches overall. I’d compare it to a Deli.

These were very sub par bagels, bagels that do not really deserve to occupy real estate in New York City. The bagels themselves were flavorless, and had the texture of bread. The inside of the store is very no frills, very much like a deli counter. The staff were really nice, but I wouldn't say this is a cute or charming spot by any means.
They shut before 5pm. I get there 4:58 and they shut took down all the bagels and the works

Ask any New Yorker for the best bagel spot and it will always be the local joint closest to them. (Yes, H&H Bagels are good, but no way in heck am I going more than 5 blocks from my house when the bagel craving calls). Bagel on the Square is the best bagel spot in Greenwich Village. My go-to order: everything bagel, not toasted, jalapeño cream cheese with a slice of tomato and onion. (Perfection!) The online ordering system is a pain to use, so I always call in my order for delivery. Super tasty. Super fast. There are trendy $8 bagels in the area, which do not hold a candle to these.

Scam for touristThe bagels was good but lady at the cash scamed me. I order bagel with peanut butter 3,75$ and bagel with scallion creame cheese 4$ and add salmon to that and I payed 19,33$!!! She didn’t give me receipt, overcharged me and didn’t want to give my money back.

UGH! I'll get right to it. No beating around the bush here. Bagels sucked. Can I say sucked and not violated TOS? I started with an everything with cream cheese, I ordered it un-toasted cause that's the way you can truly evaluate a bagel. Toasting hides so many flaws. The bagel was or at least seemed to be stale. Hard and very difficult to chew. Yeah, that bad. Just to make sure, I went back and got a poppy with butter. Double ugh!! Barely any butter. Either they have lousy fresh bagels or they sell yesterday's leftovers. I won't even go into service(ok) or ambience (also ok) Definitely not recommended.
