Wow ,what a cute little place ! Came here on a Spring Day with a friend. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are very charming looking like you are in Japan. They call this Japanese comfort food and I guess it's true. Get the Anchovy Fried Potatoes appetizer. Tasty and unexpected with Parmesan cheese . Benemon has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in New York and always hits the spot when I’m in the mood for Japanese comfort food. I definitely want to come back and try more of the menu, but it’s hard not to get the same thing every time because it’s so good.I recommend making a reservation, because it can get pretty busy!
