Bustan is a lively Mediterranean restaurant in the UWS. The food is hands-down some of the best food in the area! It’s absolutely astounding. I find the staff lovely. I enjoyed the food so much I asked to be a part of the team!
Highlight: tuna crudo. This dish has got everything. A little sweet (thanks to the orange segments), a little nutty (pistachio), a little salty, a little sour (lime), and a lot fishy! 5 ⭐The hummus was reasonable. The my grandma's homemade couscous was underwhelming, barely any flavor, barely enough broth. Really not worth $27.Finally, I disliked the tahini dip. I was delightfully surprised at how. much I enjoyed this restaurant. Went with a friend who, like me, loves Meditteranean cooking. Having traveled to different countries in Mediterranean, I learned it's more about the "farm to table" concept in preparation.
