One of my favorite restaurants in the city. I used to attend high school nearby and would frequently go after class. Reasonable prices for New York standards and good meal sizes. The service is always quick, and the style is your quintessential UES small restaurant. While everything is delicious, the vodka sauce is the best in New York. This will always be my go-to when I'm craving good Italian food.
Came back with a friend and tried the carbonara and the limoncello spritz - both very tasty and would get again. We went without a reservation on a Friday night and were seated right away which is just shy of a miracle...but we were seated in one of the little heated tent things on the side of the stairs to enter the restaurant which barely fit two tables of two, so we basically crashed someone's first date. The food here is honestly incredible, I love pasta, and this place is a gem. I love the create your own pasta, and the shrimp from here is so good and cooked to perfection. The pasta tastes so fresh, I love that is made there. The crabcakes are great as well! I sometimes get pick up, but I've eaten inside once, it's very cute and small on the inside and our server was so nice. I live really close so I will definitely be a regular here.
