Was not happy with wait staff…food…. They weren’t nasty …just not what I expected… Food was mediocre!

One time I had to go here to get 20 croissants and while the man working the counter did give me an odd look, he helped me take care of that. It's a good alternative to getting breakfast at Pastis which is a bit more expensive. Sandwiches are decent too. It's nothing that's going to blow your mind or anything.

I attended a birthday party for a good friend & we started out our night here. Just passing by, it looked like a good place to cool my heels & relax. I love the atmosphere; pool table, wood fixtures and the many types of seating arrangements. I will say, said friend was tremendously disappointed in paying 15 dollars for a weak jack & coke (i would be as well). The Pros & Cons of this place outweigh each other. **Watch out for the loud/long line nearby at peak hours (gansevoort hotel)**

Courtesy of a Gilt City voucher I purchased, my sis and I went to Carte Blanche for some oysters and champagne (2 of her fave things) on her birthday. This cafe is located on the bottom floor of the Hotel Gansevoort and we sat outside so were able to take in the scene and met some amusing passersby. As the night was somewhat chilly, we were the only patrons seated outside, but the champagne and oysters were pretty good and service was alright. Overall it was a nice experience but probably one better had in the summertime.

This place is weird, and I mean that in the best way possible. You'll understand when you browse the menu. The "Snacks" are amazing, even if some of them are a little pricey. As for the more substantial items, the sushi is creative, and is priced accordingly. The fish was of good quality, though nothing was really earth-shattering. Because of that, I'd stick to the more adventurous creations, i.e. the Ikasu roll or Yakuza roll(ok you got me, I'm only suggesting the Yakuza roll because I think the Yakuza are cool (just kidding, it tastes good, I promise)). I would have tried their burger, as I've heard good things, but I'm a little Pat LaFrieda'd out at the moment.

I purchased a gilt coupon for Carte Blanche, since there was a special on the oysters and champagne. The oysters were fresh and tasty and the champagne was pretty good too. This place has a cute vibe and good food. Perfect for a date night. Would definitely recommend it.

Perfect clean and tasty . Excellent service. Latte and fruit salad for $7.50! Nice! I'm here on vacation and I will be back

This is a delicious little lunch stop on an adorable cobblestone stretch of the Meatpacking....especially nice if the weather is good and you can sit outside. It is a good hotel restaurant even if it does look like a cheap little sandwich shop. The prices are pretty good and it is rarely crowded. I had the tuna sliders (better than it sounds) and my friend had the eggs Florentine (with spinach on English muffin). The servers are stylish but a little too cool for school. And the coffee was surprisingly bad. Good for a quick bite but less than what you'd expect at a chic hotel.

Banana & nutella crepe = yum Comfy lounge chairs = relaxation Pool table = perving on butts as they take their shot Extremely thin waitress bringing me my crepe = split second thought of sending it back and ordering a salad.

Great little cafe for a casual meal in the Meatpacking District. The paninis and salads look great, the takeout counter is great before hitting the Highline. Nice cocktails at the bar, but here's a hint: Order your drinks from the cafe/food counter side where they are $12, as opposed to $15 from the OTHER side of the bar (where the pool table is). No one will stop you from bringing it around to the other side. Lobster BLT was fresh, fries are perfectly seasoned shoestring fries. Scrumptious crepes, nutella, fried bananas, caramelized walnuts, yum. Stuffed cupcakes satisfy any sweet tooth.
