Deux Amis is a great neighborhood staple. Always good service and reliable tasty food. Their house wines are a terrific value, all good. The pate starter could be a meal, comes with perfectly dressed green salad.
We absolutely loved this small quaint french restaurant at 1st and 51st in NYC. It is close to the United Nations. It is obviously loved by the locals. We had French Onion soup and a Puff Pastry that was filled with shrimp, chicken and cream sauce. The food was beyond good. The service was also excellent.

We were able to dine early and so ate at the best outdoor table, next to the building. The service was, as always, thoughtful and attentive. The food has always been good, but this time it was better than ever. There were several new items on the menu, as well as specials. All were delicious and all 5 of us ate every bite!
