It's a pity that this location will have to close and relocate. I wish this restaurant a successful transfer to their new location wherever it may be. (It would be nice for it to closer home, in the Upper West Side). The Adjaruli was tasty and had a good texture. Just be sure to mix the eggs and cheese before dipping the ends into it.The Palatschinke was tangy and creamy.

We went during COVID and felt SO SAFE. It was a cold, windy night and we still felt warm and full! The pierogis and cheese boat were amaaaaazing and we're going back ASAP!

SO GOOD. Best goulash I have had since I was on Hungary and the pierogis are better than my grandmothers. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, and the draft beers are spectacular. The cheese boat was unreal delicious but surprisingly not too heavy - I didn't feel like I needed to be rolled home after eating. Perfection.

We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we came to this fine restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a beautiful time there with great meal and a nice stuff and a great cook. We put this venue in our list and we shall certainly visit again very soon. Highly recommended.

I love this place and want it to stay in business so I can continue to visit. The food is fantastic with a lot of variety (pick a dish with spaetzle or order some on the side... so good). If you visit during rush hour, watching heavily congested traffic heading toward the Holland tunnel is great entertainment while you eat.

Just about the only place to get German food in the area and the best Beer selection available for delivery. Thrilled the food is so authentic.

My favorite restaurant in the West Village. The food is delicious, comforting and clearly made with love. And they're super nice. What's better than that?

I really love the team at 27 Morton. I should say it’s more of a family. Always positive, upbeat and welcoming. The food is wonderful! Truly authentic Eastern European food .. great wine and beer...and the ambience of West Village outside.... always a lovely time here!

I travel to SF for work from New York, NY, where you just can't find German food. Love this place- unassuming, warm, friendly atmosphere, like being at the pub. Food is simple but fantastic- the schnitzel takes me back to childhood as a US Army brat living in Germany. It was my favorite food as a kid and this place nails it. Plus the bartenders are super engaging and friendly. Just fun to hang out here.

Great spot to get Eastern European food. I wanted to get pierogi and was so happy that I found a great place for it. The pierogi's were perfect and so flavorful. They normally come with bacon, but they left it off for me as I'm a vegetarian.I also tried their signature dish, Adjaruly, which is a Georgian-style cheese-boat with egg and butter (I've attached a photo to my review). It was so yummy and perfect on a cold winter night.Highly recommend to check it out!

I've been wanting to try 27 Morton for some time now. I was tempted to order the cheese boat, but since I ordered delivery, I thought maybe that wouldn't be the same as in person. I went for the chicken paprikish. My order was delivered pretty quickly! They wrapped everything individually and securely. The chicken stew was flavorful and delicious! It also came with the cheese and herb spatzle. Oh my goodness. This is basically glorified Mac and cheese. I first had spatzle when I was in Germany a couple summers ago. This one was super delicious. So cheesy and flavorful. If you get anything from 27 Morton, make sure to get the spatzle as well. It also came with a side of bread to mop up all the stew! A super delicious and comforting meal for a cold winter day! And great for delivery!

This place clearly knows how to take care of their clients. Consistently with a very friendly attitude. The food is fairly priced, regularly tasty and clean.

Love it here; food is always yummy and beyond, service is super sweet (we two normally eat at the bar pre covid but also brought big table of gathering); and the atmosphere is just comfortable. It’s such a local gem. ?
