Food was great. Margaritas were weak, though one person got the Cadillac margarita and said it was better (he tasted both).

is my first time coming into this restaurant. I never felt so humiliated in my life. I was waiting to be seated with my son, and this hostess, whoever he is, just ignored us and took the people behind us . We have to walk or self out of the restaurant we didn't even get no greeter from anybody on this place I feel disappointment. Because I don't understand, I don't know if it's racism or whatever It is but never in my life I felt like this in another place specifically when I'm with my kid what a suppose to tell him the waiter ignores us because were not of his like get out it here is 2024 Saturday 5:00 pm I dont want to get anyone in trouble but it should be tough to your employees that who ever comes first should get served first no matter the ethnicity.

On a quest for Mexican food in NYC, it leads you down many paths of disappointment. Yes you can find the best tacos, but finding sit down tex mex is hard to come by. That is until finally wandering into the Mexican place I had passed by so many times. This place is very very good. I got the chicken chilaquiles and the sauce was very good and the amount of meat they gave was very generous. Everyone I went with liked their food. The search is over!

The staff here are all good people, they make terrific margaritas and the food is also consistently delicious. As for the ambiance - there is always a great mix of people there, locals from the hood, people on dates, older couples, families, gay, straight....its a community.

A good Mexican place near the little-known avenues A, B and C.It’s another New York where we find El Camion. The food is very good and the frozen margaritas to die for ;)You can go there without hesitation.Sometimes a little noisy but we're still in Mexico!

Sorry there are no photos, this was purely a spontaneous find for my friend and I and it was a positive one. We were walking past this spot to go to another spot we liked, they were full to our dismay. We walked back to this spot, and we were met with a cozy and for the most part quiet Mexican restaurant. Our server was really patient, and friendly. Also he had given us really good attention despite that he was one of two servers that was working that night given there were two other people and a 6 or so person party in the restaurant as well. I had one drink; the Frozen Peach Margarita, and it was really well made. Also I thought about it and I've never had a peach margarita before. It's not as sweet as you'd think a peach margarita would be; it was balanced with tequila flavor and lots of peach flavor with a bit of sweetness on the back. Probably one of the best frozen margaritas I've had because usually they're just ice, tequila and sweetness. The food I had was really good, I got the quesadilla with chorizo in it. It comes with guacamole, sour cream, and pico. For chorizo, I felt that it had really good flavors and again were balanced and not over powering each other. Then I had the shredded beef tacos that had guacamole and fried onions on top. Another very good dish in my opinion. Anytime I order shredded beef it comes out watery or bland or having a weird after taste. This was probably the most seasoned pulled beef I've ever had, and even the juice that was coming out of it was flavorful. The guacamole adds a sort of bright acidic and fatty quality which paired well the beef which was quite lean. It's also one of their cheaper tacos too. Lastly, I had the fried ice cream which I'll be honest was the weakest part of the meal. While the flavor was really good, I felt that the textures weren't what I'd expect from fried ice cream. That being the outside shell being hard and warm (nice) and the inside being soft and cold. The outside of this was just below room temperature and the inside was frozen solid, so I felt like it could've been fried for just a minute more. My friend loved his food even though he got in my personal opinion the most basic things possible. He got the Queso Fondue type thing that he absolutely loved. I got a little bite of it and it wasn't too heavy like you'd think it is and had a little back end spice like from a pepper jack cheese type of vibe. Very much balanced. Then he got the cheese quesadilla, which he liked a lot. Overall, each dish/drink that I tried were balanced in flavor and texture. Great staff, and clean cozy vibe. Will be coming here again.

We stopped by for lunch. The service was excellent even though there was only one person covering the bar and tables. The waiter was friendly and provided prompt, attentive service. The place is roomy and the vibe is welcoming and comfortable. The food wasn't amazing Mexican food, but it was tasty and we enjoyed our meals. Prices were reasonable.

Mid mid mid mid mid mid mid mid midi grew up in LA everything about this place is midtacos are bland and underseasoned, if youve been to a real taqueria before this place will not hit ?the good tacos im used to are a dollar or 2, the ones here are at least 3 if not 4 (also they dont taste very good)Ive never tried the drinks but apparently theyre great, so if ur a drunk tourist looking for an underseasoned overpriced meal and some tequila on a saturday night this place will probably be perfect for you ???
