Yesterday my boyfriend and I were in NYC to see a concert at the Beacon. We were looking for a little cozy place to eat and stumbled upon Gina La Fornarina, and boy am I thrilled we did! Upon entering the building was clean and bright, with fresh flowers decorating each table. The waitstaff were all incredibly kind, and made us feel right at home. The menu had several different options from salad, pizzas, and pastas, and everything was reasonably priced. My boyfriend got a spaghetti dish, and I ordered the Gnocchi. The amount that was served was just enough that we were both pleasantly full, but could have gotten dessert if we really wanted to. Also was extremely impressed by the fact that our glasses were constantly being refilled with fresh water without having to ask for it, and that our food arrived out very quickly after ordering it. If I find myself in NYC again, I will most definitely be stopping back to try another dish. Highly recommend! 7/5 Stars if I could.
