Il Melograno is a consistently excellent restaurant in New York, offering homemade pasta, wonderful daily specials, and reasonably priced wine. The menu features delightful artichoke cake appetizers, basil pesto and mushroom/sausage artisanal pasta dishes, as well as a generous portion of ribeye steak with delicious potatoes. The drinks, including a classic Negroni and a cucumber cocktail, are also highly praised. The service is excellent, and the restaurant has been described as a "quite a find" that exceeds expectations.
