We walked in with no reservations on a Saturday night (we had just arrived in the city) and only had a 45 minute wait. The food is delicious, I had pork tonkatsu ramen, and my husband had a seafood okonomiyaki. We shared a soy and ginger beef appetizer and got their seasonal Miu Miu cocktail. The service was quick once we were seated and the staff was friendly. The only drawback is that the space is loud, and it is uncomfortable to try and have a conversation over your meal. That may not be a problem on a weekday though.

The food is better than the sushi/sashimi. Overall, really loud and crowded. Pictured: Tonkatsu, Nigiri Combo, Sake Bowl, Creamy Kimchi Udon. Favorite: Kimchi Udon.

Kimchi Undon is always the best. I had already come twice and couldn't wait for the next one.

Bathroom has a interesting industrial feel. I love the secret smell dispenser on the top corner I felt cared about. But the smell dispenser was empty but I appreciate the thought. Sink was super nifty with the sink handles felt fancy in a hipster way. The storage fitting the theme in the sink area was a nice touch. I personally don't want to hang in this toilet but maybe that's the point cause so many people. Toilet bowl sitability : 5/10 Overall: 5/10

This place is hard to find at night but it’s a hidden gem! They have a Japanese and Korean fusion menu that has fun and flavorful dishes. The creamy kimchi udon was to die for!! The sashimi don was also a knock out! Well… the pictures speak for itself. lol I definitely will be going her again. It has a nice aesthetic downstairs. The only downside of this place was that our waitress wasn’t the kindest but that did not take away from the overall dining experience and food quality. We ate DOWN!

This restaurant is a hidden gem, truly underground—it's actually located in a basement. While its entrance may be a bit hard to find, the food is surprisingly good. They offer a wide selection of Japanese street food, sakes, and wines. Additionally, they've added their own twist to the dishes by incorporating ingredients and sauces from around the globe. The vibe is also quite impressive: the lighting is dim, and the music is at the perfect level.Overall, it's a fantastic izakaya spot, perfect for after-work gatherings or foodies who appreciate Japanese cuisine in an izakaya setting.

Used to love this place and tonight was just bad. We were party of three and seated at a tiny table for two people with an “extra chair” which was way too low for the table. The server spilt water on my back which I don’t really mind given that it’s a crowded space. But she just looked, walked away and brought napkins to clean up the table next to us. No sorry or anything. I was so confused.

Decent food for a decent price. Wouldn’t say anything stood out as extraordinary but the prices are great for the quantity of food you get.We enjoyed the Yellowtail Carpaccio and Toro Roll the most of items we ordered. The Kara Age, Zuke Salmon Don, and Omu Soba were alright. Wasn’t a bit fan of the Nabeyaki Udon.If you’re a tourist in NYC, would definitely skip. There’s much better stuff to try in the city. If you’re a local and looking for lots of food for good value, this is a good candidate. I fall in the latter category, so we were satisfied. We spent ~$135 after tax and tips for a party of three and for all the food pictured.
