delicious food, served in 5 minutes, friendly, expert and professional staff, Japanese cuisine with very high quality products, the only flaw is to find the restaurant which is hidden, you have to find a black door with stairs leading to the restaurant, a somewhat closed but truly welcoming environment.
Just WOW! I absolutely love that the food looks exactly like the pictures on the menu. Everything was INCREDIBLE. I can't even put it to words. I wish I could've tried everything on the menu, but maybe another time!FYI, the restaurant gets super busy so you will definitely need a reservation.

Izakaya MEW is such a gem in midtown. It's a busy spot for good reason! The entrance is easy to miss, but I felt like I stepped back into Japan once inside. It was quite busy for lunch on a Thursday and a reservation is probably recommended. Great food and quick service.
