Roasted chicken is one of my favorite dishes to eat as a healthier takeout meal option. This place makes some of the best rotisserie chicken I’ve had in this neighborhood — i get it nearly every other week. They also make really good empanadas. I’m not gonna lie, everything here looks OD good though. I definitely will try the rest of the menu at some point.
They have very good food at very reasonable prices as well. They also discontinued their Pizzeria about a year and a half ago, since their main restaurant's food is much better. Their Pizzeria never really caught-on with their main restaurant's regular customers, which there are many.

I can't believe I lived in Washington Heights for so long and never visited La Casa del Pollo. The chicken always smelled so good but I never found an occasion to go. I was feeling a bit homesick for Dominican food today so I decided to stop by on my way home since it was on the way. While this the rotisserie chicken, they also sell other platters.
