Second time here, lunch on a Saturday. They open at noon on weekends. It's pretty easy to get table on weekend you could just walk in? The whole time it was only 3 tables from 12-1:30. This time I tried green pepper corn base with snapper. This base is not as spicy , a lot of green peppercorn on top but not too numb. Happy Year of the Dragon! We were delighted this place was open for lunch on Chinese New Year, having heard great reviews from friends. The place has a great location the hear of Hells Kitchen, which a casual and inviting atmosphere that is bright and airy. There was hostess / server for our lunch who was very quick and friendly. As someone from Sichuan where grilled fish was anecdotally invented, grilled fish shouldn’t be battered fried first! The way Lubian cooked it makes it very very greasy!The deep fried pork intestine is good tho but very small portion.
