Possibly the best donuts I've had in my life, for real. The jelly ones and the chocolate glaze are absolutely amazing, though there are plenty of other choices here. Lots of non-donut options as well, including other traditional Mexican baked goods and lunch/breakfast fare. And the prices are so cheap I almost feel guilty when it comes time to pay. With such great food and lovely people I will be truly unhappy if they don't survive this down period.
I was hoping this could become my go-to bagel spot in my neighborhood, but alas, the quality is really no better than bodega bagels. I got a salt bagel with veggie cream cheese, and though the flavors were quite good, the bagel was far too dense and not springy enough. My boyfriend got a whole wheat bagel with cinnamon raising cream cheese, and though he enjoyed the whole pieces of walnut in the cream cheese, the texture of his bagel was off as well-- too dense and dry. The most delicious donuts on nyc, I swear. My friend brought me to this littke bakery and WOW! Everything is Beautiful! Delicious! Smells fantastic. The cakes include a baklava cheesecake: whaaaattt??? Seriously! Note- the store front is hard to determine - but persevere!
