Lemon pepper wings and the pudgies are incredible! The Mac and cheese never misses in my experience. I’ve ordered a lot online and have been here in person plenty of times and it’s been a go to for me anytime I’m visiting in Harlem I have to grab something from Evelyn’s Kitchen. It’s probably my favorite food spot on the east side. Definitely worth checking out.
Once upon a time, YEARS ago, I DM’d Ayala and told her that “I live in Texas but I tell ANY and EVERYone to go there if they mention they live in NYC or plan to visit. Twice my friends went to get me the Banana Pudding Pudgie whilst visiting there but both times the cafe was closed. Visited on a Friday after having dinner a couple blocks away on a whim. Me and my partner bought the triple chocolate brownie, devil dog pudgie, and smores pudgie. Over all SOOO GOOD!!! Service was really friendly and atmosphere was homey. I recommend this if you’re near East Harlem.
