I met a friend at this place after work. We liked our drinks, food, and service. Unfortunately, happy hour brought a loud crowd in. I'd definitely go back before or after the happy hour.

Eating good, albeit simple, pasta with tomato and basil in New York is difficult, let's face it, but here we found it and tried it, well done.

Have come to this place a few times now, and I am always pleasantly surprised. They have a great happy hour deal that includes some bites, too. Anything w their mozzarella or burrata is a good idea.We also came here for lunch recently, and they have a great lunch deal! You get an app and pizza/pasta for $26. I highly recommend the caprese (one of the best renditions I’ve ever had), and the caponata. The pizzas are also generally good!

Food was decent but the service was incredibly rude. We went for lunch, there were probably only 4 other tables seated but they rushed us. Took away plates with food still on them and gave us the check with dessert. It was very unwelcoming. Won't go back.

Where do I begin ? (Starter) bread never arrived but they still put down olive oil, salt, better on my table. I was dining alone so maybe they didn’t care? Undercooked Schiaffoni pasta so bad I had to return it thankfully they didn’t charge me for it. Very okaying bruschetta that forced myself to eat so that I won’t go hungry. Deser samplers were very okayish- Panacotta had no taste & the Almond cake was a little hard.Definitely not going back. Ever.

Mozzarella bar????? I'm sold. Obica is a gorgeous Italian restaurant in the city. The food was outstanding. We celebrated galentines day here and could not have found a better place. The charcuterie board that we ordered was the mozzarella bar experience. You get so much good and fresh assortments of food. You choose 2 cheeses, we chose the mozzarella di bufala and ricotta di bufala. All the different meats literally had my mouth watering. I probably couldve eaten 3 of these boards. It comes with focaccia bread also and some amazing spreads to pair with it. Everything all goes so well together. We split 2 of the pizzas next. The capocollo and the prosciutto di parma. I think the only words I have are holy shit. These were so good.... And literally gorgeous. We ate orders of the cacio E Pepe and carbonara. All of the pasta here is homemade. Both dishes were absolutely amazing and so fresh. The crispy guanciale (fancy fancy bacon) was so good and honestly with the sauce was outstanding. We sat here talking, eating and just enjoying each others presence for literally 3.5 hours. They were probably so sick of us . Im already counting down until we go back. Ordered lunch to go. Food was overpriced compared to the amount you get. Tiny container. I ate my pasta in 2 bites. Small tiramisu is not even 1 full bite. Soda is a small bottle. They didn't give me the soda I had to ask for it. Maybe the experience dining in is different, but do not order to pick up. Spent $44.00 but I am still hungry.

Magnificent restaurant in the heart of New York. The food is refined and delicious. The pizzas are incredible. The service is excellent. The only downside was the mozzarella croquettes which were really small for the price. The desserts were also delicious but the portions too small for the price paid.I will come back but only for a main course without dessert or starter

Honestly, I need to try this place again because the atmosphere and service was great and the interior design is gorgeousBUTThe food was just OK. The fried mozzarella balls had great flavor, but were a bit greasier than I would like. Also, the top of my burger bun from the burrata burger we ordered was hard and not edible. I ended up just eating it without the top bun. The bar was super busy & the prosciutto we ordered was really fresh, sliced perfectly and the hazelnut Panna cotta dessert was great too.

The food was good but I ordered the Carbonara for $24-$28 and it came with literally 7 pieces of pasta. This is incredibly small, I’m not even mad about the price… just mad that I left hungry for that price. It would cost like 50 cents for them to include double the amount of pasta that they did ?Again not a bad experience but if you’re gonna choose Italian at this price point in NYC…. There are 100% better options.
