Can't say enough good things about this bar. It's close to the subway, and several paid parking options. The atmosphere is unadulterated tiki, with tacky paintings of nude women, weird art and retro vibes. The simple but effective sound system in the quaint back room for live music did the job well. The only tiki bar in New York that let's you keep the mug for only $7! The drinks are about $23 with the mug. They aren't the most authentic tiki drinks but after 2 you won't remember how to spell tiki trust me! This place has a very cool vibe with strong drinks. They are there to make you have fun not to fleece you for a few dollars.

Went to watch my friend Chelsea Glaze perform! The staff was very friendly and the bartender was so sweet and kept her cool when it was only her working and getting swamped with orders. If you’re a musician looking for a place to play, I recommend this place. The drinks can be a bit pricy so if you’re going out one night or you’re planning to see a show, I recommend pre gaming and then just getting a drink or two when you get there.
