Panera has arrived in the Upper West Side. It's the same food but the price has skyrocketed. It used to be a chain I enjoyed but I'm not feeling warm cozy vibes anymore. They used to have the salad I loved in the summer. The menu has become so complicated I don't want to order. They are definitely accommodating about the ingredients. This was a very nice location if you are on the go and just need quick stop. Unfortunately there is no tabled seats along with 0 outlets to charge your phone and or laptop. I ordered myself a Bacon avocado melt and I was brought the wrong sandwich at first but this lovely young man by the name of "Sunny" was exactly like his name (Bright and charismatic) I felt very welcomed by his presence and he ensured that the mistake was corrected immediately. To me, Panera is elevated hospital food. However, you cannot go wrong with the broccoli cheddar soup. It was as I remember it, although a tad bit more watery. The bread that comes with it is clutch and between the soup and bread you will definitely satisfied. I also got the passion papaya green iced tea, which has a nice subtle flavor and is not overly sweet. It was nice and refreshing.
