For an upscale vibe Peruvian place, this is the spot. Been here multiple times and the food is great with the downstairs vibes giving you upscale without needing to be all dressed up.The ceviche is a must get, as well as the jalea which is the fried seafood platter, Juanita’s chicken (very tender and not dry at all), as well as the lomo saltado (top pick for non-seafood ppl) which is the wok fried beef chunks and veggies. We order one appetizer and 3 main dishes for 2 adults and 2 kids. The tamal limeño appetizer was very good to start the night. It was very tasteful. The main dishes, the ceviche mixto was excelent! Very refreshing, the ceviche had octopus, shrimp, calamari and fish. The second dish, The camarones cuzco in yellow aji sauce was spectacular too. The third dish piqueo pacifico, was a set of 4 ceviches was also very refreshing and tasteful.

This is our favorite Peruvian restaurant in NYC. Portions are good, prices not as crazy expensive as a certain Peruvian restaurant in mid 70s in UES and most importantly, it’s delicious! Ceviche, lomo soltado, ají de gallina and arroz con mariscos are our favorites. Cocktails are very good too!
