The chef and servers were beyond accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was superb and the view amazing.I wish I had gotten our chef’s and server’s names but I didn’t want to act like I was in a Progressive commercial. So thank you staff working the evening of 3/26. Even though we ordered a minimal amount you were so gracious and your service was impeccable.

My husband, Raul & I have not had a date night in a very long time! I invited him to join me for after work drinks at the Gansevoort Rooftop and he happily agreed. We entered the Gansevoort hotel lobby and went to the Concierge who asked if we wanted to check in earlier that the 6:45 P.M. reservation that I have made via Open Table. We said “yes” and she showed us to the elevator that led to the Penthouse. Once we were checked in our table was ready for us. The views of the Hudson River, lower Manhattan & the Jersey City skyline were all breathtaking! The sky was powder blue & the sun was a magnificent yellow when we were seated. As the sun began to set, the sky took on a mix of yellow, orange, blue with white clouds. We perused the menu. For drinks, I ordered the Sex & flowers cocktail & Raul ordered the ARL Gold. For our appetizer, we chose the spinach & artichoke dip which was creamy, cheesy & delicious! For our entrees, I ordered the PEI mussels & Raul ordered the Wagyu & Swiss cheeseburger both served with fries. We ordered another round of drinks and were both pleased with how flavorful everything tasted. The prices were steep, but worth it. The staff went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. We plan to go back soon!

Went here for a late Valentine's Day dinner for the 19 course Omakase and Saishin exceeded our expectations!!! Chef Patrick and Server Sebastian were outstanding. Their knowledge of the food was beyond evident. The food was high quality, fresh and a spectrum of flavors. Even the eggs were imported from Japan. They made our dinner experience fun and intimate. We will absolutely be coming back. Oh and the view was spectacular.Dietary restrictions: Although we did not have any dietary restriction, they were willing to accommodate and alter the entire 19 course Omakase per any dietary restriction.

Best sushi and service I’ve ever experienced. If you’re lucky enough to get served by Sebastian you’re in for great service and recommendations. The Sake Maki, Spicy Tuna, and Shiro Maki were all so good we couldn’t pick a favorite. Definitely

came for the 17 course menu on New year's Eve and was not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the sake selection was great. I wish the server had been more knowledgeable, but the chefs were great. Phenomenal view and a lovely space as well.

So on point!! Service was unreal and food was even better! Shoutout to Sebastian he made our experience 100/10 stars! Thank you chef!
Wow, I had the most amazing Omakase experience at Saishin, a little hidden gem on the rooftop of the Gansevoort Hotel. Chef Jorge, a Peruvian native, served a parade of delicious sushi dishes with a Peruvian influence. I felt like been transported back to Lima, Peru's foodie heaven. The views of the NYC skyline were breathtaking, the chef's personal service was impeccable, and the overall vibe was incredible. I absolutely loved it! Thank you, Chef!

This is definitely a hidden gem. The views are stellar and the food is so fresh! The combination of flavors were delicious and I enjoyed the Peruvian flare some dishes had thanks to head chef Jorge. It definitely elevates the omakase experience making it truly unique to other omakases. They even make and serve FRESH Wasabi! I rarely see this being done, & it's also cool for people who don't know how it's made. The team was also super professional, friendly and I enjoyed how knowledgeable they were on the fish selection served. Highly recommend checking it out. Perfect for date night!Dietary restrictions: They serve for gluten free

Selling point is their ambiance. The appetizers were better than the actual omakase. The pieces of fish were so small and heavily seasoned. Even the toro, which is supposed to be an easy win, was surprisingly not that tasty and a little bit slimy. Service was nice and the panna cotta dessert was also yummy but given the price point, will not come again.

Great Omakase experience!! Food and views were amazing. We had servers around always to make sure our water and drinks were full. Jorge (sorry if spelled incorrectly) was a kind and knowledgable chef, everything he prepared was delicious, would definitely come back again!
