Our family had our dinner in Mrs fish on Saturday in February 2024. Despite the restaurant name that resemble a Sichuan restaurant, this restaurant could serve authentic Cantonese cuisine.We met the chef that evening who has culinary experience in several famous restaurants in Guangdong China before migrating to New York. I was hesitant at first to dine here w some of the 1-2 star reviews, esp coming from “local tour guides” but I’m glad I gave it a shot. These local guides dunno sht, their 5 star reviews are at joints where mushu chicken and spring rolls are raved. That is American food, not Chinese. Come here if you want legit flavors (from one of many Chinese regions). Flash fried live shrimp was my fave. Followed by the lamb chops. Went to lunch on Saturday with my son. He loved the lamb and salt & pepper pork chop. The dim sum and noodles are fantastic as well. We have been to this place quite a few places over the years, it has always been a delicious meal.
