I am sadly disappointed at the 'revamp' Starbucks has gone through recently. The small tables dotted around feel lost and impersonal. It's not anyone's Third Place anymore, a role it used to fill so well. This is no longer a spot to gather with friends - it's a soul-less grab and go, and it is sad to see.Their one USP was their cosiness, there were always a couple of comfy chairs or a sofa, and the window bar was revolutionary in getting people to not simply get a coffee and sit...read full review

I recently read that there are over 3,000 coffee shops in NYC. Some 350 of these are Starbucks. What a number! I don't think there are 350 people in the town where I live.Here we go. Of the 350 locations, I believe the best location can be found at 81st and Broadway. It's that great. The man here is Martin. Don't speak SB's? Ask Martin. Thinking of changing to something new? So my official Starbucks closed so I was forced to go to this one it was the closest to my train stop on my way home or to work and I am so happy with this location the customer service is amazing my drinks are usually pre ordered and are always ready in a timely manner. The staff is friendly and if you go there enough they know ur name... Definitely one of my favorite stops on my way to work!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
