The soup dumplings were tasty and robust. The Sezchwan wontons were flavorful and spicy!

The food was very good, we had soupy buns, and shrimp in chili sauce. I hadn't had this shrimp dish in a long time and they made it perfectly.

Table for one. Yes, please. Fifth teen minutes into the meal half (empty restaurant) waiter nastily, angrily, took plates away I was still with food in my mouth, I was surprised I wasn’t slapped by the staff. All waiters bad service. Sad place, racist!

I went in with friends to Steam for lunch and we were all extremely happy with our choice! I found the service to be fast and efficient. The wait staffs were friendly and helpful. We ordered the following:- White Truffle & Chicken Steamed Soup Dumpling- Crab Meat & Pork Steamed Soup Dumpling- Shrimp & Pork Siu Mai- Shrimp Dumpling- Beef wrapped in Scallion Pancake- Chilly Tofu- Combo platter with spicy tofu skin, braised bamboo shoots and jellyfish salad- Hot & Sour Soup- Scallion Oil Noodles- Lava Sesame BallsEverything was very flavorful without being overly strong. The shrimp dumplings were done very well and had great texture, siu mai was fresh, lava sesame balls was a treat (great way to end the meal with this dessert!). I love the chilly tofu! It was simple and very flavorful. Everything was delicious! It’s hard to find quality and tasteful dim sum (I live in Flushing and have had my share of Asian foods) and was surprised to find this hidden gem in the area. My friends and I were all very please and can't wait to go back.

Delicious food! They were also super sensitive to my garlic allergy and removed it from all dishes. It is usually really difficult for me to eat Chinese food due to my allergy, but Steam accommodated for me flawlessly! I really appreciated their care. ☺️

$30 for an entree and they can’t give you rice or broccoli as pictured. It’s good, but not worth it.

We craved dumplings so this was a random place we picked. It had good reviews and they were right. The pork dumplings were really good. Shredded beef scallion pancakes were new to us and we liked them. The spring rolls and chicken fried rice were not the best

As a self-avowed foodie, I was excited to stop by Steam to pick up a quick lunch. I ordered shrimp fried rice and asked for homemade mustard as a condiment. Well, imagine my surprise when I discovered this BLATANT RACIST gave me FRENCH'S YELLOW MUSTARD as if I didn't know the difference. I would have gotten angry, but her brand of ignorance is unfortunately far too common to waste my time with. Smh ?This owner is usually so responsive to reviews. Yet, somehow, missed mine.Western racism is an old song now being sung by new and different groups. It's all so sad.#stopallracism

Been waiting to check out this spot for a minute! Took the family there this late afternoon for a dim sum lunch. Sunday afternoon, plenty of seating, no crowds. I loved the wood-panel decor; it made for a clean aesthetic. I really wanted some hot tea, and while there is no tea on the menu, I inquired and they were able to bring me out a house-brewed green tea option. :D I am also not one for sake, but my cousin got a bottle of the Ozeki Nigori (strawberry), and it was DELICIOUS. It's so rare to find a fruity sake! I definitely recommend. Now I came here with recommendations to try the black truffle and pork soup dumplings, and the fried rice. I recommend you get the soup dumpling sampler like I did, because I couldn't decide between the black truffle pork and the crab meat and pork dumplings, so getting a sampler of all the soup dumplings put me at ease. I will say the truffle dumplings are definitely a deliciously unique taste, but you don't need 6 of them unless you're in a group and everyone wants to try. The pan-fried pork dumplings were ALSO very good. And I ended up going with the spam-fried rice, which I loved. SO flavorful. The dish that blew us all away? THE FREAKING CRISPY DUCK, OMG. Hands down, the best crispy duck I've ever experienced. When you forked the meat (I realize this is an amusing description, but bear with me here), you AUDIBLY heard the CRISP of the duck. Yes, this is saying something. And there there was this delicious duck dipping sauce...My cousin gave me a piece and told me to share with my other cousin. After one dip and bite, I said no, sorry, I can't share this, and gobbled the rest down. The rich flavor, the impossibly crispy skin over juicy tender meat...I am waving a banner now telling you if you if you're reading this and love duck get this crispy duck. If you've never had duck before and want to try it, try this duck. It stole the show. We also got the braised pork belly noodle soup, but you can pass on that one; it was nothing special.Overall, we had a great family lunch here.

No white rice or chopsticks with a $60 plus takeout order. The old style place on Sixth Avenue is out of business si there is no comptetition.

My friends and I recently visited Steam and had a great visit! The storefront can be easy to miss, but what a great spot to find! Everyone was so friendly from when we walked in and the servers were great. We ordered teas to start and I got the Thai tea, which I really enjoyed. All of the food was great. I really enjoyed the sweet red bean pancake, and have been wanting another ever since trying this one here! Everyone at the table ordered a few different dishes to split. I really loved the pork buns, soup dumplings, and beef shumai. I would definitely order all of these dishes again, and even splitting these with two others, I was very full. The interior is cute with the decor and is modern, but also has a cozy/warm feel. From the busy street outside, this feels like a nice, quiet escape. Next time that I am in the area, I will definitely be coming back!
