Walked in randomly for a bite last Sunday and I cannot believe how great everything was!!! The menu is really interesting and not your typical sushi but it is creative and very well thought out from the fish to the smallest detail like toppings. The manager/ server was absolutely delightful explaining the menu in great detail and had extensive knowledge of the drinks and paired the perfect sake for my meal. Great staff and great food! We visited Sushi on Jones West Village as a recommendation and had a great time. The Omakase bar made it fun to watch the chefs prepare the sushi, with a few especially delightful and creative pieces (Wagyu-uni nigiri and Truffled Toro Maki). The roasted mushrooms, Akami Crispy Rice and wagyu dumplings were great too. Will definitely be back.
