A mid salad; I think for the price of their salads ($16) there needs to be a better ratio between goodies (toppings) and the greens… but that’s just my opinion.DISCLAIMER: there were more goodies at the bottom but still not enough to warrant the price.I guess inflation hits us in more ways than one.I will be looking for a more cost effective salad with the right goodie ratio but hey it wasn’t a bad salad. Just not the best.

Despite being the only one up front with a long line and to-go orders, he managed the entire stores orders effortlessly with a smile. It's rare to see such dedication and efficiency. Sweetgreen is currently dipping a toe into its possible enshittification stage. It’s unclear if they’re having staffing issues or just running experiments on how much they can accomplish with fewer people. The speedy and friendly service they were once known for is now absent from 4 separate locations I’ve visited over the last two weeks. They are certainly prioritizing delivery. The vast majority of people in the store are delivery drivers playing loud violent video games on their phones. Wish things wouldn’t be sliding. I’ve been a devoted and grateful fan since the start.

Why can I not come in here and have a good experience? Every time I come up to the line with a smile on my face I’m met with the feeling I’m not wanted there. As a service worker myself, I’m just trying to enjoy my 30 minute lunch break and splurge on a nice salad. I shouldn’t be punished by the workers for simply coming in. Then to avoid this I try ordering for pick up, only to come in and still have to wait 15 min for the salad to be made while it would’ve been faster to just go through the line when I got there… what? Now my break is over and I had little to no time to eat.
Why does this place have so many good reviews? I don't get it. I've been here three times and each time the portions are SMALL. extremely small. You have to haggle the employees to add the correct portion size which they will usually charge you EXTRA for. Moreover, the employees are not nice at all. They charged me extra for protein (which is included at justsalad and chopt). The only two other customers there overheard my friend and I talk about these ridicolous portion sizes and agreed with us. The guy next to us paid $30 (THIRTY DOLLARS!) for his bowl because the included portion sizes were so tiny!!!!! And there was bones in my chicken and a huge stalk of a head of lettuce. I usually don't leave reviews unless an establishment has made a overwhelmingly positive/negative impression. But every time I come here it's such a horrible experience. I paid $19 for my dissapointing bowl. Will not be coming back ever again.

I consider Sweetgreen in Soho to be one of the best Sweetgreens in NYC. Staff is very friendly, salad bowls are filled to the top, and it is a cozy place to have your lunch. Tried the Miso Glazed Salmon (protein plate), it was good but in my opinion does not compare to the always tasty Harvest Bowl.

Love the concept, but don’t understand the appeal of this place. Minimal amount of toppings on a large bowl of lettuce. Everything is “extra”. Not even cheese or egg is included. Way overpriced for what you get- nothing special. Menu is confusing and signage (and prices) not clear. Only 5 tables in the whole place. Guess they’re catering to take out people. Just basic salad for exorbitant prices.
