What a lovely place! On a rainy day, I stopped into this local gem and had the most warm and cozy bowl of soup... Everything there is fresh and made to order. I don't eat onions, garlic, or scallion... very few places actually are able to do that. I have always gotten my food exactly how I order it here. Delicious food served with kindness and impeccable service!

At 6:05 pm I just ordered pork fried rice, moo shu chicken and Scallion pancakes. Simple request. Simple order. Then, around 6:50pm I called back because I am not too far from the place and still hadn't received my order. They abruptly told me it was "out for delivery." I called back around 7:30pm and expressed my concern about this order. I had not received anything and I ordered one and a half hours ago! They told me the delivery guy "delivered the food to "a lady!" I asked them, what did the lady look like. They didn't answer but said the lady had 2 dogs!!! I don't have any dogs here. This was a ridiculous mix up. I said I do not want the order at this point and I want to cancel the order. They barely apologized and said ok. I will be checking my back account to make sure they followed through on my request to cancel. Totally screwed up our night! My sons was starving and we had to order elsewhere. HORRIBLE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE. Disappointing because we recently discovered this place and it was pretty decent food we ordered and picked up, previously. Unfortunately after this experience I will not order from this place ever again. Beware if you order for delivery.

I rarely write reviews let alone for inferior food but this place needs to be called out for what they serve, which was terrible, at best. I ordered Chinese Eggplant with Fried Rice per their lunch special. The Eggplant was squishy/mushy consistency (zero taste) with some weird brown sauce - overcooked? The Rice was even worse - also a similar but even more overcooked consistency. Wonton Soup was a passable 2* experience. Sad that a place like this botches easy to prepare dishes like the above. The interior of the restaurant also looks like it is from 1970s.

They always have great food. My family has been ordering food from them for 26 years, except when they work closed for over 2 years because of COVID. When my sister comes back to New York from Florida, she always wants to go there or order in to get their sesame noodles.

Solid, old-school, no-frills Chinese restaurant that has been around for decades. Reasonable prices, good portion sizes and good food, I would always be happy to come here. I highly recommend the bbq spare ribs and the crispy shrimp and scallop special.

I stopped by while i was in the area and asked what they recommend & what's most popular. By their suggestion I got their sesame chicken and it was very good. I pay attention to detail when it comes to food and i liked their batter, sauce and meat ratio. Generous amount of actual chicken, as opposed to these places where just cover the batter with thick sauce with barely any chicken. So it was very satisfying. I got veggie dumplings as appetizer but that was just OK, nothing too spectacular about it, just average tasting dumplings. I don't have complaints. Would come back for another dish again.

I'm disgusted by my order today .. literally this isn't chicken more than 1/3 of the general Taos chicken is fake .. it's not fat it's not plastic it's kinda in between . I threw up twice . Health department should take a look at them

Tang’s Garden offers what you’d expect from most Chinese restaurants. The vegetable fried rice lunch special ($10.85, tax included) came out fast and was a decent sized serving. Probably better suited for takeout as the interior is rather drab.
