There is no price transparency here. Tip included in every drink is automatically applied. Then when paying the bill there isn’t an itemized receipt so we were tipping off of the total. We paid over $100 for 3 basic drinks (vodka tonic and 2 jack and cokes). We only found out about the included tip after pressuring the bar tender for an itemized receipt. He then said we couldn’t take it but could take a picture. We were also the only two up there that night so it wasn’t busy. Awful experience and would not recommend. Unless you want to pay $30 for basic cocktails.

Found this rooftop on a whim when in the area. This rooftop is located in the Marmara hotel. I went up and there wasn't much ppl. I spoke to the bartender who said they were open and I was able to take a seat outside. Both the bartender and the waitress were kind and helpful. The drinks were really good! Midtown to drop prices for sure. The old fashion was smooth and a little sweet. The midnight martini (it had another name) was delicious and cute. I only tried the guac which I thought wasn't the best. It was missing more lemon or flavor in my opinion. Can't speak for other apps. If I came back I would try the Burrata. The view, ugh gorgeous! A reminder of how beautiful the city is.

The drinks were ok but they ran our credit card before we said we were done and added a 20% tip for themselves without allowing me to choose on the tablet. No receipt either. Supposedly the printer was broken...

MANHATTAN: a dog friendly rooftop bar? Yes please!Open seasonally, The Blue Rooftop is over 20 stories up with panoramic views of the NYC skyline!Leashed dogs are allowed and you can sip on a signature cocktail and order from their nice food menu.mmIt's a small outdoor lounge-y space with comfortable couches and some table seating. We were able to make it on one of their last days of the season and had the place to ourselves. The staff is cool and attentive too!Since the bar is outside, they are now closed for the season, but follow them on social media for updates. You can also enjoy the dog friendly One One Four Bar in the lobby of the building which is also the The Marmara New York hotel!

This is a small rooftop in good location. Only one that you didn’t need a reservation. Once me and my friend ordered they said they needed a card for the tab, which is fine. Then the bartender brings my card saying I left it. Went to leave and close out and we’re told oh it’s already been closed. Come to find out they added 20% and whatever else kind of fee. They definitely need to give you a heads up before charging a card and adding 20% tip. Poor service and pretty much no service doesn’t warrant a 20% tip without even being told.

This place has great rooftop views. You aren't high above all the nearby buildings, but you're also not below -- you're right in the middle. It creates a beautiful effect where you feel like you're floating in a sea of lit windows. In terms of seating, it is a bit limited, and when we were there, there was a party that had reserved a bunch of the couches. We were relegated to the narrow side passageway, which was a squeeze for the six of us. The music was solid -- good rooftop vibes. In terms of the drinks, I personally didn't care for my cocktail all that much, but the guy gave me triple pour of cognac and undercharged us, so who am I to complain?

You are paying for the view, which to be fair is AMAZING. I ordered a $25 burger (extremely pricey) and asked for it medium rare with mozzarella cheese. it came well done with a single slice of kraft (?) american cheese. i also had a $10 can of beer. with tip, that's $42 for a very lackluster burger experience. we were also just about the only people on the roofdeck, yet our food took upwards of 45 min to arrive. If you want an incredible view of Manhattan, this will get you that, but man i will never come back here sorry!Oh also! They asked me for a credit card before the meal to open a tab, then closed out the tab and added 20% gratuity without communicating any of that to me, then instructedme to go downstairs for my receipt, at which point the (maskless) bartenders gave me the closed out rcpt and said I was good to go. The whole thing was weird, and non-communicative. I will say, the bartender/server on the rooftop was very friendly. But yeah the nonsense with the check....very unusual. They said "oh we don't have a printer up here" and I'm thinking...maybe with all the $25 hamburgers you can afford another printer. The final detail is there is only ONE one person bathroom, in the lobby area of the hotel, and in order to use it you have to go down 20 floors. All the other bathrooms are out of service. I feelbad for the people who work here...seems like a poorly managed establishment. The owners are clearly raking in the $ and not putting it back into the business. I hope they are paying their workers fairly!

No service. Plastic cups on a rooftop, haven’t heard of that one before. I know covid has changed a lot of the menus, but the choices were basic (chips or quesadilla or veggie burger) and I could get better quality from a truck for 1/3rd the price.

Great service, really cute waitress, amazing drinks and beautiful views. This is the perfect spot for a date night or a get together of your close friends.Love it! Will be back.

I hate to say it, but this place has the absolute worst drinks on the planet. If you go here just get bottled beverages. The food comes from the hotel in plastic boxes which is horrible, the only good food is the guac and the quesadillas. Also the bathrooms are in the lobby. Horrible experience.
