Absolutely incredible food, music every night, the restaurant owner is so kind and remembers us every year when we visit. Best restaurant I’ve been to in New York and I’m not even vegan.

We found this place through Google reviews. We are only in town for 5 days and we were so impressed we will make the trip back for another meal. We had cauliflower pops, the Portobello special as well as chocolate avocado cake and carrot cake, all excellent. The bonus was the live music by Matt Basile!

The food was SO good. Definitely recommend the omlette. And the bowl was full of hearty veggies. It was so hard to choose just a couple of things from the menu! Can't wait to come back.

Just went here with my girlfriend. It was pouring out and we hoped to get some dessert before heading home. The owner took his time greeting us and had an attitude when we asked to just see the dessert menu. When hearing we just wanted to share cake he said rudely “fine this time, but this is a restaurant.” There were many free tables. Most people were just sitting with coffee or wine and one woman was working on her laptop. We were the only POC in the restaurant and the situation felt discriminatory. We ended up leaving. Other one star reviews have validated our terrible experience at this restaurant. I, as a vegan, love supporting vegan establishments but this is not one I will be supporting.

There's a lot of good vegan options in this neighborhood, but this is definitely worth a trip. The Mac & cheese balls were really delicious, maybe the best of that kind of dish I've had. The fried oyster mushroom sandwich was also good, though it could have maybe used some more veggies. My partner loved her risotto. We also got dessert and the cheesecake was great. The service was slightly slow - it was Friday evening - but really friendly. Prices are typical for the Village. They had wine and beer but those prices were really very high. They had a great tea selection with nice presentation. One unexpected benefit was some really lovely live music, which they have several times per week.Dietary restrictions: All vegan. Very clearly marked gluten free and soy free options.

Had the most amazing Valentine's dinner there with my husband- every dish beautifully prepared, served with love and care /lovely service and soooo delicious! My husband had the lasagna and I had the risotto on tonight's prix fixe for two. And there was live music (very cozy) . Highly recommend even if you're not vegan it's so yummy!

Everything is delicious… appetizers, sides, burgers. I ordered ToFu omelette, cauliflower pops, loaded fries and spicy bean burger….It’s the best vegan restaurant.

Amazing vegan food, fresh and delicious! They sometimes have live music which is great. The prices are a bit too expensive.

The owner is extremely rude. BEFORE I even sat down with my family he barked at us “don’t come in here if you’re not going to order, just because you don’t want to stand outside in the cold” we had JUST arrived?! I was in shock. He then went on “do you even know what food we have here” to which I responded “maybe if you would let me sit down and see a menu, then I would know”. We got up and left immediately. 0/10 customer service. This guy should stay in the kitchen to avoid scaring patrons away.
