Super rude staff - it feels like they are trained for being unfriendly.

Great venue for a small event. In our case , the host had over booked, but they managed well.

I have always dreamt of staying at the standard high line, so my expectations were high. I have been warmly welcomed by Mandee at the reception and my room was even ready at 11am. I got a superb superior queen room on the tenth floor. The view is just amazing, overlooking the high line and the river. It is extremely sunny and warm. I also love the decoration in the room and the set up, very cozy and modern. The bathroom is lovely with black Zeliges tiles that I love and a big bath tub as well as a shower. In terms of size, I think a king room would be more appropriate for two people, but the queen room is perfect for myself. Mandee even gave me a call to check if everything was ok and delivered to me a nice personalised card with treats. I am pleased to see that despite the size of the hotel, the Standard is still able to provide a personalised experience to customers. After having tried several hotels in NYC and having always been very disappointed, I have to say the Standard is above my expectations. You will pay the same price in other hotels of manhattan and get a very poor experience, rude staff and a tiny room. I have also tried the restaurant. Again, the decoration is amazing and the food was delicious. I am looking forward to visiting again. Thank you Mandee :)

Everything at the standard, high line has been impeccable. The hotel itself, the rooms, and most importantly, the staff! Everything was so fast and perfectly executed. Everything we asked for was not an expectations were exceeded.

This was my 2nd time staying at the Standard High Line-- Overall the room and bedding were very comfortable. However, the service was mediocre-- It was difficult to confirm reservations and/or check-in using a centrally billed corporate credit card. Also, I called the front desk to have my tv fixed on Day 1 (Room 1618)... It was never addressed during my 3nt/4 day stay.

The team that worked with us was excellent! I was very impressed by the staffs professionalism and customer service. Gabriel was great at leading and helping execute our business' needs while we stayed at the Standard. The front desk staff (Savannah, Annika, Johnny, Stassie, Javon, & Cole) was extremely helpful with checking our clients/guests in and making them feel right at home. Our really appreciates the care and concern the staff had with handling our special needs and requests.

Great six day stay. I was in NYC for mostly work and to see some friends. The Standard, as always, was terrific. Great location, lots going on, great restaurants in the area, easy to get to where you want to be and staff was, as always, outstanding. Johny, Savannah and Gamill at the front desk/lobby weee especially awesome. I e stayed here many times and will do so again in the future for sure.

Stayed here for 6 nights recently. The hotel is in a great location , the staff were welcoming, cleaning all good. Food and Beverage outlets were plentiful within the hotel and quite reasonably priced. Nice hotel to stay in.

It is definitely a hotel below standards. Let’s start with the pro: good location and great views over River Hudson. Than the negatives which are quite a lot: they put us in a sub-par room (516), smaller than all other rooms in its class, with noisy water pipes making noises. Next day changed rooms. Why would you expose your tired guest to such a thing? Complaints resulted in no excuses, nothing. Then the dining and bars: rooftops appear quite nice but are all closed even when the scarce personnel at the desk specifically told us they would be open at that specific time (all kinds of details on sort of snacks etc were given attached to that specific time). We were subsequently told to go away in a rude and aggressive way because we had misunderstood what had been told. We understood correctly, it was told in the wrong way; again: not even the smallest excuse. The bar on the street side (grill?) was Als closing at like 10 as was everything else and demanded ID’s as sort of deposit (??) to open a bill. We are guests of the hotel! Totally understaffed with inexperienced personnel. I don’t understand where they got their current TripAdvisor rating.

I always go there and enjoy the spectacular view of the New York City from the top of The Standard. Their service is amazing and their gold bar is so delicious. You would always love to go there.

Attended a once in a lifetime party here. The views, the food, and the entertainment were out of this world. The entertainment was all outsourced as it was an intimate birthday party for a well know individual. However, at the end of the night a friends jacket was not at the coat check. After touching base with the right people, the jacket was returned but disappointed it took those steps. I guess just be careful about what you check.

CHECK YOUR BILL!!!!! We were asked if we wanted our room at Noon, not expecting to get in so early. We accepted and when we checked out, found out they charged $75.00 for early check-in, which we did NOT need OR ask for. The Hotel staff is VERY RUDE and GOOD LUCK finding someone at the front desk. The room felt DIRTY and the whole experience was upstaged by the RIDICULOUS FEES.

I had a great time at this hotel. The location is perfect right on top of the Highline and next to the whitney adjacent to Chelsea market and a short walk to Greenwich Village. They have bikes there that are free to guests and we use those to roam the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel definitely has a trendy and useful vibe and noise was not a problem on my 10th floor room. There is a little lack of privacy if you are staying with teens because the shower has a complete see-through wall Great visit and would certainly stay again
