Decent Thai spot in Hells Kitchen. I enjoyed the small intimate atmosphere and service was friendly. Food wise it was ok but nothing really stood out and the flavors didn’t really pop as much I’d hoped they would based on some of the other reviews on here.

They served us completely RAW chicken. They didn’t apologize for the raw chicken and at first denied that it was raw even though the texture was slimy and completely raw!! This was horrible and traumatizing experience. Don’t risk food poisoning here!!!

ThongLor is definitely a hidden gem in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s an intimate space and quite busy through the night, love the decors and utensils here. Highly recommend the chive pancake is very crispy and savory. Also I never miss Tom Yum soup here. It’s on the salty and spicy side. Dessert is meh, way toooo sweet even for someone who has sweet tooth.

Encouraged by the many great reviews and in the mood for trying a new Thai place, I got takeout from ThongLor today. The staff was friendly and the small place was pleasantly clean and decorated. Even after a bit of a wait I was looking forward to my food.Unfortunately, at home I had to find out that the lunch menu portions were very small and the rice was dry. The takeout bowls with the panang and green curries were not even half filled and the sauce was barely enough to moisten the rice. The green curry did not have any eggplant in it. The taste was fine, but not extraordinary. The competitive pricing seems to be achieved by small portion sizes. I was a bit disappointed, but might come back to try dining in instead.

The food here was great. We split red curry paste in coconut milk with bamboo shoots, eggplant, basil and bell pepper with chicken, which came with rice and Pad Kra Pow (Basil Sauce), which was Stir-fried onions, bell peppers, basil leaves in house spicy sauce served with jasmine rice. Both dishes were delicious. The ambience was great. Service was great. The best parts were the prices and the byob.

The food was great. Every dish was unique and flavorful. The waitress was friendly. The service was a little slow, but that might be due to having only one waitress taking orders. So, if you are willing to wait for great food, this is the place to try.

The staff tonight was awful. We ordered and were left standing around for another 30 minutes waiting. There are too many other great restaurants around here to put up with average food and garbage service.

The food was delicious and authentic! Best Thai food I’ve had since living in Thailand. Service was wonderful. The restaurant only has a handful of tables but they also do takeout. Will definitely return!Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Small but easy going restaurant.

This was some of the best Thai I’ve ever had! To be so close to Time Square there is some hesitation about coming here, but don’t be afraid! The atmosphere is truly magical, and you will feel sealed away from the bustling city. The northern Thai curries were phenomenal! Our waitress was this lovely little lady who was so attentive of all our needs. Please go support this wonderful business.

This was a random find by me and my wife. Cozy little Thai place tucked in on 9th Ave. We absolutely loved it. The food, ambiance and service were all great!. Especially the food! Some of the best Thai food we've ever had...and we are forever searching for Thai food on our travels. Must try if you're in the area! We're looking forward to our next trip to NYC to visit ThongLor again. ?

The best Thai I've had in years! It was the culinary equivalent of a bowl of joy and love. My curry was delightfully spicy and generous. The server was attentive and kind, and the chef came out to say hello as well. I am looking forward to going back next time I'm in New York.Vegetarian options: A lot of dishes are vegetarian or can be vegetarian depending on protein. I didn't notice if it was particularly vegan-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. The space is too small to reasonably accommodate one.
