Prime Meat Rokko Reviews
For katsu fans, this place is a must visit. Their beef katsu was the specialty and def worth trying. For non-katsu fans - like me - it was still something interesting to try. It was tender and juicy. Oh and don't forget getting the draft beer there. The set-up indoor was very japanese style, smaller space than I expected. Glad I made reservation as there were parties waiting outside, as again there was barely much space inside. Service was good.
Delicious slow cooked Pork. So happy they had info on the table regarding the 'pink' pork. It looks undercooked, but it's cooked just right. This was an amazing tonkatsu meal. We don't get to Hell's Kitchen very often, but I'd trek across from the east side to eat here again.

I recommend this new-ish katsu place in Hell's Kitchen. The pork retains a pink-ish hue from being slow-cooked for many (12?) hours. The batter is also incredibly light, more reminiscent of a Japanese katsu than one in America - just very finely executed! It wasn't particularly crowded when I went; I hope it stays in business! 1.
