We had a lovely time, thank you! The food and service were great, and the noise level was pretty low even though the restaurant was quite busy. We're looking forward to coming back soon!
Terrific place, delicious food, lovely ambience with a laid-back jazz background on the stereo. I had the saltimbocca romana, my husband had the branzino. I was so glad to see the place was open--it seemed like every time I had passed it in the past, it was shut up tight. I made a decision to recommend this place to my friend, Massimo, an Italian from Procida--and when we left, he was coming in! Looking forward to a return visit.

Il Gusto is a pleasant place. We ate outside because the evening was warm and we enjoyed that. The service was not very good though and that makes a difference. We've had better, more gracious, more welcoming service in the past.
