I would normally give this place five (5) stars, but I was disappointed with the service this morning, especially after leaving a nice tip. I ordered a toasted corn muffin extra dark and was given a blueberry muffin instead. I only knew this once I arrived, which was too late. Naturally, I called, but they did not answer the phone. Despite asking for toasted bagels, they weren't, the avocados were crudely cut and put on instead of being spread, the bagel worker looked upset to be there and can only handle one request at a time but this is Penn station so it's always busy. The coffee is bland and don't expect anything fancy, there are no espresso machines here. Even if you tip VERY generously, the old lady behind the counter treats you like a nuisance, her negative vibes are only countered by the younger...read full review

I am a big fan of Zaro's for whenever I am traveling to Grand Central/Penn Station. I always look forward to stopping by. Their products are so fresh and amazing. Scott Zaro is also the best!!! I had a concern, and he was so quick to respond and address the issue. They went above and beyond. It was evident that the family really cares about what they do and their customers.
