“Not for nothing when u order once n a while and the delivery person remembers your kids how sweet they get to just pay them and next time they deliver to us we get candy for the kids.. being it's close to Christmas this really touched my heart to see how amazing a business will go for their customers kids... “Ma and Pop shop that melts my heart when I’m there (2nd time going). They greet you when you come in and are the only employees there (so definitely have patience though their kindness makes up for any time waiting).Each time I’ve been there they’ve given us a complementary “starter” (2 pieces per person of a spicy, on-the-house sushi).Today we went for the lunch combo and that’s been our favorite so far since the price is good for what you get and I love that it comes with a choice of miso or salad (last time we went for dinner and I had their bulgolgi sushi which was amazing but I loved how fresh and filling their lunch special was while also being budget friendly).They even served us free dessert both times; a complementary (and beautifully cut) orange slice and half a mochi each (last time it was the vanilla mochi which I loved as it reminded me of an orange creamsicle with the orange slice but today’s was a matcha mocha that was absolutely delicious).We’ll definitely be back :)Vegetarian options: I had a sweet potato sushi roll that was so good! I also see they have avocado rolls and other rolls that are just surrounded by a single but delish vegetable.Kid-friendliness: There was a mom and her little toddler waiting for takeout; the owners not only gave them the complementary starter while they waited for their order but even a whole mochi to the toddler as she was waiting with her mom. The owners have the biggest hearts! ❤️“

“This place is the best hibachi restaurant my family and I have ever gone too. The manager Chris and chef Jason are amazing! Everytime we go there they remember us and our kids and always greet us with smiles. Chef Jason remembering our little ones name, makes her feel so special. They literally have the best food and drinks. Would recommend this place to everyone.Kid-friendliness: They keep the kids engaged during the whole cooking show and even make them balloon animals at the end!“

“Truly the best sushi!!!! Everything about this place is incredible. The service and food are top notch. We searched for a sushi place and never found one we wanted to go back until we came to Mizu. Now we can’t get sushi anywhere else! Get the spicy tuna rice appetizer, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Celebrated our anniversary. Our waiter Daniel was amazing. So attentive and explained specials and gave great recommendations. Food was great as well. Had the Lychee Leche cocktail, insignia salad, coconut shrimp sushi roll, porterhouse for two with the black truffle mac and cheese with lobster. And vanilla bean crème brûlée for dessert. Food was amazing. Live Dj playing the atmosphere was great. Would love to go back again.“

“We ordered take out from here for the first time and the food was so delicious! We got the Kani, Mango and Seaweed salad, Pepper Tuna Takaki,steamed Shumai, the Fire Island roll and Godzilla roll. Came here for dinner on a Saturday, and even though it was crowded, we still got a table rather fast.For an appetizer, we got K-Mac Sliders, which were delicious and probably the best thing of the night.For dinner, we got a chirashi platter, which, was very nice and featured some great fish. They don't list what your getting, which is a little annoying, but the fish was good and fresh.Service was good, and the ambiance is rather basic, but nice.“

The rolls tasted fresh and were great quality.Inside was nicely dim and there's two dining areas, one for hibachi which we will be back for!Service was excellent, yelp check-ins even got me a free glass of house wine! The rolls were beautifully made, and came out super fast.Pricing was perfect for a sushi restaurant, $8-$18 a roll and the appetizers were in the same range.“

“The sushi rolls here are always good. They have many roll options. This is a pretty much take out only place there is two or so seats in the place but they have many cute decorations, it is the only reason for low atmosphere rating. Food is always out quickly and they are attentive to take out customers.Vegetarian options: Crunchy tofu roll, spicy tofu soup and crunchy tofu app.“

“We wanted to go to kodabuki but they were closed , we looked on yelp and found this gem im so happy we went here it was absolutely fantastic !! We were fortunate enough to get the happy hour menu as well as the regular menu and it was all delicious, everything down to the green tea was unbelievable and the service was spectacular, can't wait to go back“

“Over 100 Rolls to choose from and they were delicious. The fish was fresh .. I am very picky when it comes to sushi. We ordered the American dream, the Joseph , million dollar. We also had sashimi that was delicious!! This will be our new spot for sushi ? “

“We have only eaten here a handful of times but each time the food is fresh for both dine in & take our. I love the 20% off when you order on-line. The staff is very friendly and accommodating allowing my daughter to customize her bento box. Tonight we took out & I left my phone on the bar. The staff held it for me in the register until I returned to get it. They definitely won me as their customer!“

“This place is phenomenal. It’s Valentine’s Day (and Ash Wednesday) it’s swamped. I ordered take out and once I get home the bag split and my sushi went all over the floor. I was shattered at this point because I was moments away from have a perfect night with my partner. I called them and without hesitation they remade my order as quickly as possible. Thank you so much Liki for accommodating me on one of your busiest days of the year. This place has amazing food and great service. 10/10 recommend.“

“Ordered take out for our first visit to Mugi. Excellent customer service. Dinner for 3 was reasonably priced, with tax $62.00. I forgot to take pictures before serving our dinner, was so excited to enjoy it! Bento box teriyaki chicken was well prepared, large serving and included tempura! I ordered sushi: eel avocado roll and spicy tuna roll. Very well prepared, even flavors in each bite, fresh. Reasonably priced. Our birthday boy son who selected Japanese dinner ordered tonkatsu, that was also well prepared. I will def go back to try specialty rolls. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons, 1. the salads served with bento box and tonkatsu combined did not equal the amount of one lettuce leaf. They were so small that 1 tsp of dressing was too much. 2. half of the flimsy plastic lids that covered our aluminum food containers were broken. We had 10 containers. That's a lot of broken lids. It was disappointing. Better packaging is warranted that can withstand the heat of the food and then being stacked in a take out bag. That having been said, the quality of the food is worth visiting Mugi again. I will try dine in for sure.“

“This place is amazing! The service is beyond expectation, the food was great tasted fresh and the rolls were some of the best I’ve ever had. The sanitation of this place is also very good, it’s nice and clean, the table are always wiped down before a new person comes!!! I’ve been to many sushi places and there was always something about the food or sanitary concerns but this restaurant has no issues! I will be coming back every soon!“

“I’ve been going here for years and it really is the best sushi place on Long Island. The sushi is always delicious, the staff is friendly, and we never wait to be seated. I’ve gone to other sushi places and think, “I wish I just went to kabuki instead” it’s amazing. I recommend the Godzilla roll or the Rock and Roll, but anything you get will be great.“

“Phenomenal food bursting with flavor. Excellent ambience with fun cocktails. The service was fantastic as well. The black truffle soup dumplings and Mr & Mrs Smith apps were to die for. The roast duck entree was succulent and perfectly cooked. A half order was plenty for 2 people. I loved the Dan Dan noodles as they were spicy while still having tons of flavor. That's a delicate balance that was executed perfectly. This is a 10/10, repeat visit, add it to the rotation type of place.“

“A Large restaurant with a lot of bar, table and hibachi seating. Nicely decorated in a modern style. We had a hibachi dinner that we really enjoyed. The portions were generous and the steak was very tender. Excellent shrimp and lobster tail. We had the tempura banana for dessert. It was a real treat.“

“I love this place! Tonight we tried the sashimi for two as well as the hibachi filet mignon. We also ordered a sake bottle. Absolutely delicious and food was presented to perfection. This is my go-to sushi spot( ALWAYS FRESH!!), they have so much to offer! Service always 10/10!! Will always be a returning costumer.“
