“Hi Sara, My daughter surprised me and brought me a Corned beef and cabbage dinner on the 17 and I was so surprised. I have to say it was perfect meaning the meat was so lean and cooked perfect and of course so were the potatoes and cabbage. I enjoyed it so much, please say hi to the cooks in the kit for me.”

“Wow! What a great place! I didn’t call ahead for reservations, it was busy, we were seated within 10-15 mins, in a cute booth in the bar area, by a large window where we could watch people walking down Main Street Northville, enjoying the beautiful evening. Tom, was great, he got us drinks in minutes while awaiting our booth to be empty. The Shrimp cocktail was fresh and homemade cocktail sauce perfect! The soup was amazing, the homemade parm peppercorn salad dressing was spot on, bread warm and soft! The Delmonico steak and Prime Rib both cooked to perfection! Tom, was great conversation, attentive and just an all-around great guy. My boyfriend, doesn’t like going out to eat, but I think after one meal there he’s hooked and we will definitely be back!”

“If you’re looking for a hole in the wall with great food, good service and cool people this is the place. We’ve been there three times now and never disappointed. Burgers are fantastic, the beer is cold and drinks are hearty plus they’re open 7 days a week year round which is fantastic if you live here on the lake. Met the owner last night and he’s a great guy very down to earth and friendly. The patrons are equally as friendly and down to earth. I highly recommend this place and I hear the wings are great so that’s MY next order.”

“Sunday dinner at Jay's. One server, one chef. Alexa, the server, smiled the entire time. She handled several tables, take out orders, and phone in orders. I had the chicken cordon bleu and my husband had the veal parmesan. Both were excellent.”

“This was an absolutely delightful find yesterday! Everything we ordered was delicious! Prices were very fair and tough thing to find nowadays. The waitress was absolutely lovely! Everything was scratch made. Going out to eat lately has been one disappointment after another, so this was a breath of fresh air! Definitely give them a try! Support local! Ps- for those that care they have gf options! And not crappy gf! Soooo good!”

“My companion and I had dinner at Placid Pines earlier this week. I ordered the Reuben Grill sandwich and he had the Open-Faced Hot Roast Beef sandwich. Both were excellent. The corned beef in my Reuben was very lean and delicious, as was his roast beef. We both had the pumpkin crunch cheesecake for dessert, which was also very good. For a small pub like Placid Pines to serve such delicious food is a testament to their chef and kitchen staff.”

“We had a company event for 140 people and it was excellent. The food was delicious, the newly remodeled restaurant and deck look amazing. Chris and his family along with their staff did everything to see our event was a success. This is the 3rd year we have had it at Lanzi's and we will be back next year.
