“I used to come here just to fill my gas tank, with cash and credit gas prices being the same, while taking my car all the way to College Point for service/maintenance. Last Spring (March 2022), I decided to bring my car here for service because of a whooshing noise I was hearing whenever I passed 60 mph. Mickey was very helpful at the time, explained what was happening and had the mechanic bring me to my car and show me exactly what they were talking about and what needed replacement. It ended up being a decent size fix, focused on my brake pads, rotors, etc. They were very straight forward with their pricing and offer a 10% discount on the labor charge if you are a AAA member or are a senior citizen. I brought my car back in this week due to some lights coming on for maintenance. I was helped by Gamal, another great person there, who holds the same values around building customer relationships, thoroughly explaining what they saw in looking at my car and offered different options/solutions. This time around I will have a few bigger fixes to do and the costs they gave me align with what work is needed and matches what other mechanics quoted too. Gamal was great in suggesting what needed to be addressed immediately and what can wait a little to get fixed, because nowadays money isn't just laying around waiting to be spent lol. I must say this location has my trust, my car comes out driving better than it did before it went in, and every interaction I've had with employees here has been positive. Even the dunkin donuts employees are pleasant and speedy when taking your order/preparing it/having mobile orders ready for pick up right away. There is a single person bathroom here too and I will say, it is one of the nicest most updated bathrooms I've seen at a gas station. The service section also mails postcards periodically with different discounts they offer. I overall recommend.“
“Arrived at 8:50 and placed my order, waited for 15 minutes and asked if it would be ready soon. They had mistakenly given my food to someone else. Waited an additional 15 minutes for my food and when I got it my hash browns were cold in the middle, as if they hadn't been cooked all the way. Now I have to start my work day late and without breakfast and I am never spending another penny there.“
“I stopped at Dunkin Donuts on Springfield Boulevard on a Monday around 12:30 before dropping kids off at Alley Pond Environmental Center. Dunkin had no crowds and was pretty quick preparing my order. There were no parking spots, so had to park by the fire hydrant while the kids waited in the car.“
“So bummed this place wasn’t around when I was growingUp in Queens (Us Cubans are a rare breed to find in NYC period!) I live in NJ now and still haven’t had really good Cuban food! ? I went to visit my homies in Ridgewood (she’s half Cuban & from Miami -so she knows good Cuban food!!)and was BLOWN away when my order of ropa vieja was delivered…HOLY SHHHHHHH it was delicious & I even had left overs! “Cooper and Peanut loves going to Annie’s. The staff and Tom(owner) are very friendly! Love a space to do some work and hang out with other pups! Cooper gets to play with other dogs while Peanut is learning how to socialize. My go to drink is the strawberry lemonade.“
“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“
“Located on busy Broadway so street parking. Maybe have been lucky bec I usually get a spot when needed. Prices are good. Ube latte is a big cup at $5. Not too sweet for me. Chocolate croissant $3.50 was good warmed which made the filling gooey. Good space with small tables in front of the cafe and better in the back. Maybe could be cozier with dimmer lighting. Friendly service. Clean restroom available.“
“I’ve been a long time customer since it’s grand opening. Nina, Julie, Paul, and staff have done an amazing job at cultivating a sense of community that I have not seen at any cafe before and it is a unique staple of forest hills, queens. They are really good at developing their staff and you can really see that the staff feel appreciated and enjoy working there. And by community, somehow the customers the cafe attracts are all positive and super nice. The cafe makes you want to act on your best behavior maybe because we all know we want to keep coming here and keep the vibes great. lol I enjoy the customers and the interactions here. “Incredibly homey service and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“
“Must say the food is great ?. Will go back with my family again. If you don't want it to be too pricey, don't select from the brunch menu. Do selective items. Service it quick enough. Keep in mind it's not a big place, for example if you have a family size from 7 to 8. You can also call before you go, and you can probably make arrangements. The choices are not below. The banana Parkes with eggs, wafflesand fry chicken, French toast with eggs, sausage bacon and ham.“
