“Best KBBQ in New York. The owner is super friendly and often comes to cook the meat at the table himself. The rest of the staff is also pretty attentive. Their Galbi and Jowl is my favorite in all of NY. The Bonchon is always fresh and they are not stingy in what they give. The meat is better than 100% of the KBBQ spots in Ktown and Flushing (I've tried A LOT). It's a little pricier than some of the other spots nearby, and obviously pricier than the AYCE spots - but, for the price it's amazing. My favorite restaurant in all of NYC, KBBQ or otherwise.“

“Love birria-landia in brooklyn and decided to come to the roosevelt ave location. This one definitely seems larger as they had a whole section for orders and things. Food is always good but i will say it did get pretty expensive. Downside is that parking in this area is difficult.“

“I will rate this place somewhere between three and four. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff were courteous and friendly, well deserved 5-star rating. The food is a hit and miss. You need to know what to order in this place, otherwise, the dining experience could be unpleasant to your palates. The ribs in the cage looked fun but not impressive while eating them. The bathrooms were super unpleasant. It is a publicly shared bathroom and is poorly managed.Vegetarian options: There were not a lot of vegetable dishes here, but decent selections. Need to specify no meat for special dietary requirementsParking: The parking lot is expensive in the basement, and SUPER DIRTY AND SMELLY in the stairwells.“

“I was in New York City to visit my parents in January 2024. Obviously, I then had to meet up with close friends that I don't normally get to see every day. One of my foodie friends and I decided to meet up. We always try to go to a new place that we both haven't tried - and we ended up here at Cheli. Cheli is a Chinese Restaurant (specifically Shanghainese) located in East Village (Manhattan) and Flushing (Queens). My friend, his girlfriend, and I went to the Flushing Location. According to their website, Che Li presents a distinctive dining experience, weaving together the rich tapestry of Song Dynasty banquet culture with the authentic and sophisticated flavors of Shanghai cuisine. Their culinary philosophy is deeply rooted in the heritage of Jiangnan--a region known for its delicate beauty, culinary finesse, and the origin of Shanghai's gastronomic excellence. Characterized by its subtle yet profound flavors, meticulous preparation, and elegant presentation, their cuisine pays tribute to this heritage while celebrating the refined communal spirit of Song Dynasty feasts. We were all super excited to try! Between the 3 of us, we tried the following: - Wine Soaked Chicken - Crab Meat and Pork Soup Dumplings - Sweet and Sour Crispy Eel - Nine Spiced Rabbit - Hot Stone Braised Rice (mushroom) - Sauteed Water Spinach - Black Sesame Sticky Rice Balls - Rose Lemonade Super fun and feels like an authentic experience. My friend had to order in Chinese - and I obviously pointed to the menu to order since my Chinese skills are limited. Never been to China but I would imagine the decor is pretty representative. Food, service, ambiance were A+. ENJOY!!“

“Everything is great. Coming here over 25 yes. One thing I noticed who's overall incharge he is no Tony. And never will be. Stained tablecloth oil bottle on table dirty and greasy. Dirty windows. Tony would never have put up with that. I also miss his cooking. It's the little things. But Tony would never put up with this. Everything had to be perfect.“

“Although our service was not good (our waiter insisted that we ordered too much and asked us to reduce the number of items!, it was just the 2 of us, but really? We ended up finishing everything), but still, the food was phenomenal. The flavor of the spicy sauce was the best I’ve ever had. They stir-fry rice was also the best fried rice you will ever taste. Although you need to wait a while to be seated and your service might be a hit or a miss. Would recommend this (10/10) to all hot pot lovers and to anyone who enjoys the taste of aromatic spices rather than just spicy food.“

“We had a fantastic dinner at Gyu-Kaku celebrating a birthday. Since it was our first time dining there, our server explained the various options on the menu and made excellent recommendations. Based on those, we chose one of the preset group meals. Food was plentiful and delicious. Despite being told that the table would only be ours for 1:45, service was not rushed at all. A great experience overall. We will be back!“

“Always a great time here. If you haven't been, it's every Saturday April to October except for the 2 weeks during the US Open Tennis when the area is used for parking. This year, they have more vendors and expanded it a little. My favorites are Burmese bites, Enfes for Turkish, Karachi Kabab Boiz, Moonman and the burger at zteb Malaysian Project. There are over 70 food vendors.Parking is tight, so go early or take the train. Of you go after 7 pm be prepared to wait on long lines. There is a picnic area. Bring a blanket, chill and listen to live music or a DJ“

“I went to a lunch with friends and found myself in a restaurant filled with an ongoing party - party members were loudly singing and later loud bag pipe music resounded We had made prior reservations but had not been told that there would be a party. We should have been told - we would have come at a later time. As a result of the party the staff was overwhelmed and the service compromised. I do not understand what the management was thinking taking reservations when they knew that there would be a party. We have been there before and have not encountered such a problem. The food and drink are very good Make sure to ask if there will be a party when you make a reservation. The place is too small to handle the noise of party goers and regular customers.“

“I had a delightful experience at Zaitun Halal on Parsons Blvd in Jamaica, Queens. The Chicken over rice was absolutely scrumptious—perfectly cooked with just the right blend of spices. The flavors were bold and the rice was fluffy and aromatic. Additionally, the meal came in very nice packaging which kept the food warm and was quite convenient. The service was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. A must-visit spot for anyone looking for top-notch Halal cuisine!“

“This was an amazing dinner. Our server was engaging, offered winning suggestions and consistently checked up on us to make sure we were happy and well-fed. The food was well prepared and presentation was great. The wait time was pretty short, but we were early and it wasn't packed. By 7pm the music was turned up to be a bit loud for my taste so I gave the "atmosphere" rating a 4 instead of 5. This was one of the few times I wish I'd have taken pictures of the food. It is our 3rd time visiting this restaurant and we will be back again for sure. When the check came there were no surcharges for using a card, and they didn't help themselves to a gratuity, which was both appreciated and rewarded by us. Excellent place. ?????“

“After an hiatus, we returned to this gem of a restaurant with friends. The Kitchen prepares and plates artistry. As it's name indicates, the menu changes with the seasons and adds market available 'specials'. Service was friendly, professional and helpful. The wine list was carefully crafted. It was not a phone book with prices that match the digits of a phone number. There are a reasonable variety good wines to complement the food that does not cost the price of your first house. Season offers value, coupled with carefully prepared, delicious food, artfully presented and professionally served.“

“We visited a popular Mediterranean restaurant and had a variety of dishes including hummus, beets, and charred octopus. The food was good. My favorite was the seared foie gras, which stood out for its flavor. The service was great and made our dining experience pleasant. “BEST SAATVIK FOOD!Finally got to relish the amazing Indian food that I always saw on social media. The food quality and quantity are perfect. It was nice to experience quality vegetarian food at a reasonable price. They also sell packaged snacks and sweets. Only disappointment was the coffee. It didn’t taste like authentic South Indian coffee.“

“Dim Sum was great! Service was good too. The staff talked minimally to us, but they were quick to take away finished plates and replace tea without us asking. Staff started speaking to me in Chinese, and I'm not fluent but it was no issue communicating in English - whether I asked for specific dishes (then the staff called over the person with the cart) or asked for more napkins. Disclaimer: I didn't order any ala carte dishes, so I can't speak to those. But the food we ordered from the carts were really delicious. Even the tea was great! I liked how many of the dishes came with 4 pieces, as many places just have 3. (An even number is easier to share and more common as dining parties I think!!) Even the sticky rice in bamboo comes with 4 separate pieces, which makes it easy to portion out with larger groups. I'd say the turnip cake (luo bo gao) was not fresh and at room temperature, so I'd recommend getting the dishes where you see the steam coming off; are kept in the carts that are heated. Great food and service!! Will definitely be coming back.“

“My friend were in the area and wanted a quick bite. We stopped in here for the first time and we were glad we did. The restaurant is not big but it's clean and the energy was calm and cool. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered the "67" and Magic Kani rolls (too bad I did not take pics). Both came with 8 pieces and we were able to share. Both were delicious. I'll definitely order from here again!“

“I've never written a review before but after ordering from Knish Nosh, I had to. I've never in my life tasted such amazing food like this and to be honest I'm very critical and hard to please when it comes to food so like always I was waiting to either be let down or not that impressed but I was shocked I live in the City and I order from these guys 2 sometimes 3 times a week. I'm trying to get in touch with the owner, I'm willing to invest in Knish Nosh opening in the City! Simone E“
