If you get stuck behind even 3-4 people in line - you will be waiting for your coffee for a while. it would also be one thing if the Barista's's were working extremely quickly, but they take their sweet time and are basically in slow motion / don't really seem to care at all that there's a line out the door of people waiting. The servers were kind and friendly and you could tell the barista was passionate about the art of coffee. The food and drinks were great: * Matcha Yuzu - 10/10 - The matcha flavor is not strong and earthy, so it's perfect for non matcha lovers. The yuzu syrup adds a nice brightness of flavor, and the addition of the sparkling water makes the drink extra refreshing. I saw the barista hand whip the matcha too. * Cortado - 8/10 - I'm not a coffee drinker, so take this review with a grain of salt. This drink is pretty strong since it's equal parts espresso and milk, but I liked the flavor of the beans. * Chocolate Croissant - 8.5/10 - The pastry was buttery, flakey and light. I wish there was a bit more chocolate tho because only 1/3 of the bites had chocolate. Overall, I would definitely come again for the vibes and food. I want to try their hot food options next time.“

The restaurant has a large seating area, appealing decor, and cool framed slogans throughout. My Cold Brew Coffee, with the cold foam topping was very good. I really appreciated the separate small container, that allowed me to control the foam. The Salted Caramel MochaChino was large, sweet, and could not be finished. My Warm Winter Hash was one of the best I've had! The poached eggs, when unleashed, nicely covered every crevice of the skillet. When mixed, it was incredible. This dish placed it above First Watch, which used to be my number one eatery. The Three Lemon Blueberry Pancakes were large and could not be finished. Turning Point will be at the top of my breakfast to-go list and I also discovered, that they have Turning Points throughout the entire state. Don't hesitate to give them a try and enjoy.“

“There are few quality coffee houses anymore. I used to frequent Damien & Sinclair in downtown Nyack. It closed too after a good run. I've spoken to the owner who used to visit the defunct wine bar. The cappuccino was legit and the pastries above average. We need more spaces like this in Rockland Co. Thanks Dean's Coffee. One more thing, I hope your hours have expanded since the pandemic. The French toast was well prepared with high quality ingredients. It had a caramelized banana and powdered sugar. All good BUT why serve a portion of fake corn syrup maple product? A restaurant of this caliber in this neighborhood should have real maple syrup. The dish was sweet enough that it didn't really need it, but I always enjoy real maple syrup. It just degrades the entire dish by putting some disgusting artificial product on the plate.The less major complaint was that the bread for the salmon avocado toast was too thick making it unwieldy to eat.The employees seemed a bit grumpy. None of them were rude or mean, however, and they were all competent. Today is the spring ahead daylight savings time of the clocks. Perhaps they were disjointed from that?“
“On my birthday, my husband and daughter tried to find a small yellow cake with chocolate frosting at 5 different bakeries in the area, with no success. I called Allie's Bakery, and they had EXACTLY what I wanted! I ordered the cake, and my husband and daughter went to pick it up. When they got home, I was delighted to see that even though it was small, Allie's had neatly and carefully written Happy Birthday with my name across the top, and the whole family agreed it was delicious. They were helpful and nice on the phone and, most importantly, they make great cakes! We will definitely go there next time we need a cake!“
