“We had drinks at the bar that were unique and tasty! I loved the refreshing limoncella drink that was made from prosecco and fresh lemon We had a party of six so there were many dishes ordered. All of them were delicious and housemade... the serving sizes were not overly generous for the price, but they were very flavorful and well presented. Our server was not overly attentive to our table... we rarely saw her... We ordered the calamari appetizer plate... it was lightly breaded and served with a light sweet sauce. Very good... the bread that was served to the table was excellent... the foccacia had a crisp outer crust and chewy interior... it was beautiful! We did have to pay for the bread... they don't give bread to each table, had to be ordered. A ravioli dish was ordered and was excellent... it did need some extra parmesan cheese to make it perfect... The shortrib rigatoni bolonese was served in a pasta bowl and had meaty flavor with a very nice sauce. It also needed a shredding of parmesan as did all the pasta dishes... we had to flag someone down to get this... The halibut was thick and flaky, served on a bed of cous cous and was fresh and cooked perfectly... The lamb chops were served with a green pesto sauce and came on a bed of cous cous as well with some raisins and carrots mixed in. Very tender and cooked perfectly to medium... Another table mate ordered the spaghetti and thought it was very good, generous portion and was completely satisfied The desserts we ordered were the house made doughnut holes with the dipping sauces, Creme Brule, and a cannoli... the cannoli was the winner of the desserts with a crisp shell, generous filling that was neither too sweet nor soggy... there were slivered almonds on one end and chocolate curls on the other with additional dollops of cannoli filling on the plate Yum,yum!!! This is a very good special occasion restaurant!“

“What a great accident this ended up being! Not only did we spend 1 1/2 hours with our dining experience, we progressed to the bar to enjoy a few more drinks. Molly, Kate, and Casey were very accommodating. The food and how it was all prepared...omg... genius with the ingredients. Every attention to detail! I mean, when the whipped cream on the creme brule is infused with lemon, grapefruit, and vermouth... who does that? This place is special on our list!“

“One of my favorite places in Buffalo. Their martinis and old fashions are a classic but somehow they manage to make them better. The ambience is great, we always have a good time whether it's sitting by the bar or getting a table for bigger groups. The bar tenders and servers are so friendly and really know the menu and know what to recommend. Amazing place any day of the week“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“I came in about a week ago for their happy hour and had a great experience! They have a nice happy hour menu, I got a smaller portion of the cucumber salad that was seasoned well and a great portion for an individual app.For my main, I had gotten the burger which was DELICIOUS. The double patty with cheese gives you the perfect bun to meat ratio. Grilled to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The side of potatoes have a great crunch with a wonderfully fluffy interior and an even better side of chimichurri. Quite frankly I’d buy the chimichurri by the jar if I could.Lastly, for dessert I had the olive oil cake. It was nice and light, the brown butter applesauce added a nice balance. The fennel sugar smelled like fennel but was overpowering to the palate. And to top it all off I had a great stout with my meal as well.Overall, great atmosphere with great food to pair. I look forward to returning again.“

“Wow. My coworker knew about my love of French onion soup and insisted I make the trek from the north towns to this place. I can say, there wasn’t much reason for our family to travel to East Aurora after one of fav kids museums moved, but now I have a reason to make the haul! We stopped by here after taking our kid’s to a gym in the area and I’m glad we did. I’d say that this might be my favorite French onion soup on the basis of the rich flavors alone. My wife and I went back and forth comparing it to our number one. I felt this is a little less cheesy than my typical favorite (or maybe it was slightly more cooked than I’m used to) but the flavor of the broth and ingredients are the best. We weren’t ready for dinner so we just ordered the soups and got fries for the kids. My daughter was raving about the fries and the service. She kept saying “we have to come back.” I agree!“

“As a german I thank you and America for this unique experience. There are some BBQ restaurants in Germany, but none of them so enthusiastic equipped with a smoker or something like that I've seen so far. Thus, a whole new experience eating the delicate rips and brisket. However, the BBQ sauces not all meet my taste, two of them nontheless very tasty. The prize is adequate in accordance to the amount you get, although a tip of over 10% is pretty high for us Europeans, so forgive us, we are not used to this :) Definitely a reccomendation!Enjoy your meal,Potatohead Fabian“

“This place was crazy fun, the atmosphere was amazing, and the conversations were enthralling. The bartender is a hoot... and a cutie ?, and the people there will have you wheezing.Besides that I gotta give compliments to the chef. I got the Angus burger and let me tell you, you gotta try it. They add something sweet to the burger (I skepticize it to be some sort of jam) but the contrast that it makes.with the savory burger is amazing. Not to mention the Fry's cooked to perfection; exactly what I needed. All around the place was very clean, definitely up to date on everything; and from what I've seen of the kitchen there's not much to worry about. The bathrooms were spiff and span and the mirror was cool.Which brings me to my final point, The layout. I had to say the design of the bar was very classic, you come in and are treated with a bar and a few tables and a booth wall. The kitchen connects behind the bar and out of the bar and a kitchen window. Then a small hallway that leads to both genders bathrooms and some other off limit stuff I presume(Didn't snoop around too much XD). I really like the bar and how the spirits were backlight. To summarize, id give it a 5/5 if you're looking for a good time. Thanks if you actually read all this.(PS, Sam, nice tattoo)Wheelchair accessibility: Street level with a door wide enough, no automatic doors but I'm sure a bartender or a fellow citizen would help.“

“174 Buffalo is a true hidden gem in the village of Hamburg. Came here with my mom on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm so glad I did! We had reservations for a Friday dinner, which definitely came in handy because the place was packed. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts and I loved them! Which is saying something because Brussels sprouts typically aren't my favorite. I opted for one of their specials for dinner, a blackened salmon Caesar salad. It was a huge portion and it all tasted fresh and delicious. My mom got the short rib on weck, and as a huge beef on weck lover, she was in heaven. On top of the delicious food, the service was fabulous as well. I'm not in Hamburg often, but I'm absolutely going to come back here in the future. You just can't beat it!“

“We stopped by on a Saturday night and came for dinner and drinks. It was about 7 pm and it was quite the lively scene. There was a dj playing some great Drake, to get pumped for his upcoming concert, and 90’s throwback hits. It was quite a scene and as the night went on it turned into a packed party. We were lucky to arrive when we did because the seating here is very casual, first come first serve and there aren’t a ton of tables. We started off with espresso yo self and aviation cocktails which were delicious! And we decided to try a few different menu items since it was our first time trying their food. The duck fat popcorn was tasty and had the right amount of truffle salt, the duck fat def gave it a more deluxe flavor. It was the perfect amount to snack on. The sweet potato hummus was probably the best thing we had. It had perfect ratios of sweet potato and chick peas and the pepitas and candied walnuts were awesome toppings. I will order this again and again. Finally, the nachos with grilled chicken were also good. The queso was home made and there were a generous portion of toppings, chicken included. This is a beautifully designed space and you can go back and forth between Hartmans and Resurgence which is cool to get 2 spots in 1. They distill all their liquor and make some delicious high end cocktails. One of their specialties is Loganberry flavored vodka, cocktails and their own seltzer. Overall a great time and we will be back soon.“

“Fugazi is one of my favorite bars in Buffalo! They have such a large variety of cocktail options and wonderful bartenders! Frankie and Dustin always have great recommendations for drinks and are so sweet and welcoming to everyone, you can tell they’re very beloved by all patrons. I typically go on nights they’re working because I love the atmosphere they provide, they have excellent music choices and make the whole bar feel like a room full of longtime friends getting together even if it’s full of people coming for the first time! I feel so honored to have this bar and it’s employees in Buffalo and in the LGBTQ+ community ♥️“

“The restaurant can get loud, but the decor is nice and the staff are very friendly. The food is also DELICIOUS and the servings are huge. I got the chicken chimichanga and the leftovers lasted me for breakfast and lunch the next day. They also have lots of vegetarian options. Our waitress was very friendly and chatty and the service was awesome. This is my new favorite Mexican place.“

“The food was delicious, as were the cocktails we ordered. Gracie was fun to have as our server and once she found out it was my daughter’s birthday, she brought her a complimentary mimosa and a dessert at the end of her meal! I will definitely go there again!“

“As always, food and service were both excellent! We had a 5:30pm reservation before a show. We finished our meal with plenty of time. For an appetizer, we had the hot stuffed peppers. The sauce on the side was a nice bonus and tasty for fries. For entrees, we had the hot chicken sandwiches. I don't typically like chicken or chicken sandwiches. I tend to always get a piece with grizzle. This sandwich was perfect though and the chicken was flavorful.“

“I participated in a wine and cheese event recently at the newly opened wine bar hosted by Mark and Tara, with wines provided and procured by Rick and September of Cuvée Imports. Needless to say it was a wonderful evening with wines hand picked by Rick from familial and generational vineyards throughout France and Italy, and spectacular cheeses from The Cheese Factory, also in OP. A great time was had by all who attended, and I believe most of the wines, very reasonably priced by the way are available at Mark and Kris's shop, Brierwood Wine and Spirits in Hamburg. I look forward to my next visit!“
