“Love everything about it. Except that it is kind of difficult to find the price of goods in the refrigerator section ? ?. No price tag on the goods or on side or below the goods. So it's difficult to shop, when you don't know how much your paying for??? I only found out that the English claim chowder soup was $10.49 after purchase and have to ask for the receipts ? ? ?. I got to say that all food is delicious but on higher end prices.“
“Saturday lunch. Quiet, and empty indoors. Loved the gyros and avgolemono soup. All fresh and long time family favorites, both for dine in and take out. In the summer we like to sit out by the canal. We took home some avgolemono and spanakopita. If we were not stuffed we would have also had the baklava.“
“Have you ever thought "Man, I dislike cupcakes?" Of course not. Go in here and treat yourself. I stopped in for a birthday party prep, and found they had cupcakes with banana in them - now, no one in my family really LIKES banana but me, so I figured "I'll get a couple of those to try". They didn't make it home. The birthday dozen almost didn't either. Not a place for those with weak impulse control... or is it? Seriously great cupcakes.“
“Excellent place to get frozen yogurt, whether stopping in or staying to sit and eat.The frozen yogurt menu is diverse and mostly ever-changing, but with returning familiar flavors. The building is quite clean, well-lit, usually very quiet, and not often very busy. The staff are not that friendly but are nice, mostly taking their job somewhat or quite seriously, depending on who is at the register or around the store when visiting.“
“We went into the restaurant after 200p approximately 215p and were not sure if they were open. They normally close at 200p. The gentleman behind the register greet us and told us come in and have lunch. Staff was extremely cordial and brought us a excellent lunch. Big props to the Coal Tower!“
“I am a sucker for a good bakery and this one fit the bill. I had the best matcha latte EVER! It was made with organic coconut syrup. I grabbed a loaf of homemade sourdough, which was delicious. We made bruschetta with it at home. The place was bustling with people. It's obviously a popular spot. They had many breads and baked goods. The menu is brimming with delicious choices and beverages. I can't wait to go back and try a sandwich. They carry local kombucha from Katbucha (my fav). The staff was helpful and friendly. I will surely be visiting again!“
“Easily my favorite Vegan restaurant/Cafe in the Rochester area. The staff is super friendly and if they mess anything up they will fix it. The atmosphere is great a nice and cozy place to sit in and eat. The baked good are to die for as well as their specialty sandwiches. I recommend this to anyone in the area vegan or not. Food is easily the best I've eaten.“
“If you're a cheesecake aficionado seeking a slice of heaven in Rochester, New York, look no further than Cheesy Eddies. Nestled in the heart of the city, this delightful bakery promises a culinary journey that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving for more.My recent visit to Cheesy Eddies was nothing short of magical, thanks to their unparalleled creation: the Blu-Ras Swirl Cheesecake. With its velvety texture, rich flavor, and a perfect balance of sweetness, this cheesecake transcended all expectations. Each bite was a symphony of blueberry and raspberry notes, harmoniously blended into a creamy delight that left me longing for another slice. In addition to the mesmerizing Blu-Ras Swirl, we indulged in two large Jack's Cookie Sandwiches, each crafted with finesse and overflowing with decadence. One was filled with luscious cream cheese, while the other boasted a delectable peanut butter cream cheese filling. Both sandwiches were a testament to Cheesy Eddies' commitment to quality and innovation, showcasing their ability to elevate classic treats with a cheesy twist.Beyond the divine desserts, what truly sets Cheesy Eddies apart is their exceptional staff. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff members were not only knowledgeable about their offerings but also went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their genuine enthusiasm and willingness to assist added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.Cheesy Eddies stands as the epitome of cheesecake perfection in Rochester. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, a stop at this charming bakery is an absolute must. With its heavenly creations, welcoming ambiance, and outstanding service, Cheesy Eddies has secured its place as the ultimate destination for cheesecake lovers everywhere.“
“Im gluten and dairy free and this has been a god send. There are so many delicious options that I havent been able to try everything but I want to! The smoothies are some of my favorite with no added sugar which is amazing! Can't recommend it enough“
“Love this place , I will definitely come back. Im so excited to find such an awesome pizza place and the staff are so amazing. I always love coming I live about 20 minutes away and it's definitely worth the drive when I have a pizza (or calzone) craving. I can't find anywhere that even comes close. I'm definitely a customer for life!!!Dietary restrictions: They have everything, GF, vegan , vegetarian. They are very accommodating.“
“I recently moved here and found out they were doing this promotion where they are giving away free cheesecake! I came here to try them for the first time and it is some of the best cheesecake I’ve had ever, and i would consider myself a cheesecake connoisseur! I got the plain vanilla and it was so perfect. The perfect chilled temperature, while the flavors were smooth, creamy, everything you want your cheesecake to be! Will definitely be back!“
“First time coming and it was an incredible experience. I enjoyed each dish I had. The blend of spices in each unique dish was indescribable. The Chai was the best I've ever had. I don't identify as vegan or vegetarian but this will be a regular spot for me going forward. I love the atmosphere and it was clear to see this was a special spot as regulars knew the staff by name.“
“This posh place stays busy, so just remember to make a reservation unless you want to eat at the bar! Now, everything I ordered was big and too much! Had leftovers for days!!! ?The ceiling is exposed, the cocktails are strong, and the menu is niche! Dimly lit, you can access this restaurant from outside or inside of Village Gate. And don't forget the food is delicious! My falafel was a bit overcooked, but hey... ??♀️“
“Great baked goods, and a selection of gluten free staples. My sister eats gluten-free and although I try to find new places to bring her when she visits, we always end up back here to grab a pound of pasta, a few cookies, or anything else we might need! The team is always very friendly.“
“Founders Café is a Rochester treasure. AMAZING food - everything on the menu is great, even if I tend to get the same thing most visits because I love their salads so much. But everything else - quiche, sandwiches, baked goods - are all phenomenal. Very friendly service and we're definitely always made to feel at home. Love it here.“
“I’ve had a lot of fried chicken in my day from all over the USA. However, I gotta say Chris and the coop take the leg. We tried the wings, a chicken breast platter, and the broccoli cheddar soup. My fiancé says this is the best broccoli cheddar she’s ever had. I have to agree. The seasoning and homemade love is real. Homemade sauces, Mac n cheese, cornbread… the list goes on. My wings didn’t even need sauce- light, airy, and crispy. You won’t be disappointed. Pay them a visit!!!“
“We made a reservation for I believe 9 and we ended up early. We got sat right away. No photos of the food because we were both starving. We got the Ribeye with lump blue crab. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. We also had the black grouper dish. A little salty but would eat again. Next time we come back, will just be to try the delicious looking apps and some dessert! Overall good night out.“
“The food here is really good! They have a limited menu, which allows their food to be delicious. They even have a vegetarian option, which I feel like you don't often see on limited menus. Our server was very attentive and checked on us several times without being over the top. The inside of the restaurant is nice and quiet...easy to have a conversation.“
“Lucano is truly a gem in Rochester, there is nowhere else like it! The service is so warm and friendly and of course the food incredible. They always have a great list of rotating specials, I highly recommend trying the frito misto and barramundi specials if they’re available!“
“We held the Aquinas Football Banquet at Chef's Event Center on Jan 7th. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Jill and her team executed on everything we asked for and more. Everyone was so pleasant to work with and the food was delicious. We also used them for our team Dinners throughout the season. The players and coaches loved the different entrees each week, they said it was the best food they have ever had for a team dinner. Thank you Jill Mike and team for everything throughout our season. We hope to build on this relationship for years to come.“
“Gourmet Goodies is the best around! Not only the art work to make the cake decorative but is so delicious! Debra makes easy to order and makes sure design is perfect! She made for Baby Shower and all loved the decorations and tasted amazing! She also made cut outs each with forest animal on top! Will order again!“
“I’ve loved everything I’ve tried here! Even if I’m doing a quick market trip, I grab a delicious coconut bar, breakfast blueberry and banana one or soup to bring and enjoy later because I know it’s going to taste great and be packed with flavor. You can really tell she puts so much love into the menu and food and I love this place.“
“The Owl House is one of those places I expected to dislike, but came away pleasantly surprised. It's a converted house, redone in a somewhat arch and artsy manner, with Alice in Wonderland motifs all over the walls and old-style cutlery and furniture to match. The food is over-priced, like all food everywhere nowadays, and the dishes quirky. And yet I've always enjoyed the meals, and had a good time there. Maybe it's the music, or lack thereof. No overpowering rap, throbbing techno, or wall-to-wall Superbowl. Just a nice quiet attractive place to sit, thoughtfully prepared food, and pleasant and unobstrusive service. The last meal I had was some intricate sampling of differently seasoned potatoes, but each one was just delightful, and the atmosphere was just subliminal enough that I could delight in my date too. I've never had a bad time or a bad meal here--elsewhere, for sure, but not here. I'll be coming back, I'm sure.“
“Just finished my first Bean Supreme Custard Pie. It was awesome - moist, chewy, sweet, and Vegan!!! Best vegan dessert I've ever tasted. The public market location had a mouth watering display case. I think I hear their carrot cake calling me from my refrigerator. Oh happy day!“
“I visit Orange Glory * at least * once per month, and as frequently as once a week! The food is so filling and delicious, and it’s fresh and has lots of vegetarian options. The staff is delightful, and if you don’t try one of the cookies… you are making a huge mistake!! The lunchbox is one of the best deals in town! See you soon, OG!“
“Went to Shelly's Sweet Shoppe and ordered a birthday cake and cookie tray. Shelly was very helpful and patient with me as I wasn't sure the size of cake needed. Both the cake and cookie tray were beautiful and enjoyed by all of my guests. I will be back there time and time again and highly recommend her shoppe.“
“We were in town for the Eclipse and hadn’t made dinner plans. We popped in to Lentos and they were very accommodating for our large group. The food was excellent and with the service to match. It was an unexpected gem and would definitely return next time I come to Rochester.“
“I loved this place! My first time really having indian and the experience was so pleasant. The food is delicious and the staff are amazing. The lady who took care of basically everyone's table was so sweet. You could tell they have passion for their place. Will definitely be going again.“
“The absolute best pizza I've had around the East Rochester area, if not in Rochester alone! Not going to even start with appetizers or calzones because those are delicious and just tantalizing just to look at. They have huge garbage/trash plates as well which is more than enough to feed two people each. Makes my mouth water just to talk about it. I love the food and the atmosphere. The only downfall to this pizza shop, not being spread across the country, because man oh man that food is top notch. The wing sauces varieties they have are a masterpiece in itself. Please try them out. You're missing out if you don't. The prices are accommodating and the friendly environment makes you feel like family. Customer service is top notch as well. Willing to meet anyone's needs or wants to make your experience delightful.Kid-friendliness: So nice and friendly to any and all children who came in. They were extremely happy to be there.“
“This is THE place to buy produce in Rochester. You will not find a better deal at any supermarket in the area. Every vendors here is extremely personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. The there is a wife range of foods and goods here and every visit is a fun and eventful experience. I have made coming here a part of my Saturday routine, and look forward to coming here each weekend.Parking can be a bit tough during busy times, but I have always managed to find a spot somewhere. The public market is a part of Rochester's history that I hope will continue on well into its future.“
“I was very disappointed with Get Caked, the cake we ordered and the customer service they provided for my baby shower. The cake was all cracked and was not the cake we had ordered! The entire cake was pink when it was supposed to be white with pink dots, pink border, pink pumpkin and pink wording! The entire cake blends together! I'm surprised a baker didn't look at this and think is this what they really want?? The only thing they got right was the chai frosting (which I guess was an issue to begin with), the cake flavor and the filling! They couldn't even accommodate us to bring us a new cake (they wanted us to bring the cake back to them when I literally had guests walking through the door). The only reason I went with Get Caked was because of the chai frosting. Im including pictures of what the cake looked like and our inspo picture. I will think twice about ordering from them again.“
“We found this café through my Seed Oil Scout app. We have come to Rochester for the eclipse and I just purchased the Seed Oil Scout app so I thought I would give it a try while we're traveling. This restaurant was recommended as a safe choice and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious! I got the Paleo salad with beef tenderloins. The beef was perfectly cooked, better than most steaks I've gotten. My husband got chicken Parmesan and loved it. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. We are so glad that we canceled the reservation that we had over in the Finger Lakes and decided to just stay closer to the hotel. Excellent decision!“
“Went to the Brown Hound for Easter brunch with the family. I'll get right to the point, the food was incredible, the service was a fantastic and the atmosphere at the MAG was great. Went with 2 Adults and 3 kids and there were plenty of a selections for both breakfast and lunch fare, with the waffles being the standout. They simply were the best I've ever tasted. The wait staff was super attentive and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to go back, and we won't be waiting until next Easter :)“
“Mexican buffet for a backyard wedding - perfect! Food was authentic and delicious - still getting calls from guests asking who did the cooking! Extremely accommodating of gluten and soy allergies. Can’t say enough good things. Thank you Kayla and Biscotti Brewers!“
“Such delicious sushi!! The servers were sweet and the fish was so fresh. My friend from Hawaii said it was the only place she gets sushi in rochester because it taste fresh like she used to get back home... thats enough to make me keep going back!“
“This was our go-to lunch place when I worked in East Rochester 5 years ago. We had a retirement party for a co-worker on Saturday. The appetizers and food were just as amazing as I remember, I especially recommend the "Evil Jungle" with beef, my favorite dish from here. The staff was very attentive and perfectly handled splitting checks for 11 people, with some paying for other people's meals, some paying for the appetizers, etc. They even remembered our orders from back then(!) and told us what they are now on the new dinner menu. (they are no longer open for lunch) I had to get some Evil Jungle to-go because there is no Thai food this good anywhere near home. The beverage selection is slim but sufficient. Singha is not an amazing beer by any means, but it pairs very well with the Thai food selection; most of our group ordered Mai-Tais which they said were also very good. Highly recommend!“
“We visited the restaurant with our daughter and 4 friends for Easter Brunch. The location, food and service were terrific. Service was great (always had someone at the table before our water or lattes were done), the food was worth its cost (portions were large and we all had leftovers for later in the day). Will definitely be back next time visiting our daughter in Rochester.“
