“Got there when they were just opening and they were still prepping but it was as expected. Delicious food, probably the best Korean on the island, flavorful greasy dirty food you eat while you drink beer and watch the game. It's pretty clean for what it is and most of the food is take out, loved it and definitely coming back for the chicken and side dishes. Servers didn't seem to be very familiar with the routine but they were super nice and accommodating to my friend's baby who came with us.”

“Love this place. I live right across the street. I'm in love with their grandma's pizza. The food is delicious. Shrimp scampi is my favorite. And their garlic knots are so garlicky. I usually get a dozen and eat them all myself in way under 2 days. It is my go to place for pizza and pasta. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.”

“I had my daughter’s first birthday party at the Social Play Haus and it was PERFECT!! We had the 3 hour catered event with over 50 adults and 10 children of all ages. Everyone had such a great time! We received so many compliments on the atmosphere and food, and the best part is that Marc and team thought of every single detail to make it so easy for us!! From the amazing decor matching my Pinterest vision to ordering the cake and even having a signature drink, they truly made the planning and execution so easy. I would HIGHLY recommend the Social Play Haus for anyone planning future events - you are in great hands here!”

“I love the buffalo cauliflower pizza.sweet and tangy.the garlic tomato pizza was equally delicious. dough is crispy and doughy at the same time. fresh ingredients is the key and they don't mask the natural flavor of the ing with a lot of oil pour over the pie,I am not a pizza lover but this is a place that is on my radar screen and I certainly will return too.”

“Stopped by here today for the first time, had the steak sandwich and some of the empanadas which was a special for the day Guy working the truck counter was friendly and accommodating (had a small dietary preference) Steak sandwich was top notch, made a bit different with chunkier slices of steak that have more of a bite than usual. Will definitely get more of these! Empanadas were also surprisingly good. Since Ive only been once i can only speak to my small experience and menu choice, but already plan to go again sometime soon.”

“Went there for dinner tonight, it's small cozy restaurant, only few tables. Menu is very nice and easy to order. We ordered grilled chicken cruchwrap and vegetables burrito and wings. All were good except wings, ot should be more better.Service is good, nice mexican ambiance.Parking is not a problem.You can order take out also.They have food challenge also, if you win, you will get free food, t shirt e5c.”

“This is SUSHI!! Legit sushi on the island. We came here to celebrate valentine's day and this place did not disappoint. Honestly, only one of the few places on the island that has all the unique high end fishes e.g. Uni, Wagyu. They even have omakase which is impressive. We enjoyed their chef special rolls, BBQ Squid and Cracked Uni Roll. Highly recommend those.”

“This location has a special place in my heart. 1988, I just came back from being stationed overseas and my girl friend (now my wife) says lets have Falafel for lunch. What's Falafel? Back then, the restaurant was called The Promised Land and it was the first time I took a bite of Falafel. Now, I was hooked! Strange that I never had nor heard of Falafel growing up in Brooklyn. Working in NYC was when I saw the different Falafel styles and was introduced to Einat Admonys version at Taim. I was a total fan of her Falafel. And to me, she gets points because she served in the IDF as well as being in Season 3 of Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions? Shabbat Shalom sister with a fist bump. Which takes me to 2024, Taim Mediterranean Kitchen in Plainview. Walking in just floods me with so many memories. The counterperson says if I join the Taim rewards I can save on my first order so download the app. 1988 doesn't have anything on 2024! Once I downloaded the app, I ordered something simple, The O.G. Falafel Pita made with Harissa (for a little kick) I sit down to a nice, clean location. Brightly colored tables and a jug with some delicious looking lemonade. (Too sugary for me in 2024) My meal is ready. I like the fact that there is both Hummus and Tahini sauce inside the pita. It was a nice sandwich, the pita texture to me was a little off. It was too thick compared to what I'm used to at other falafel joints. Just for a moment, I had lunch back in time. Them I checked my app for the meal credit, I jumped in my Electric Car and headed home. Chicken Shawarma is calling me, I'll be back. (80s reference)”

“It's easy, it's affordable and it's decent. I recommend it but please don't put it up against a Sushi restaurant. This is more fast food/take out. It's very good though and the staff are nice.”

“Never a bad meal. The mussels in white sauce are the best around. We often order the steak bomb. It's a ginormous platter that comes with a T-bone steak, sausage and peppers, broccolirabe, breaded shrimp, and roasted potatoes. It's enough for 4 people. They also make awesome drinks and the servers are great!”

“We really enjoyed our dinner and Max our waiter was wonderful! Great service and it was refreshing to go to a place that was not super noisy in a Saturday night.”
