I rarely eat Americanized Chinese takeout food. One of the reasons (besides the fact that I like particular Chinese regional dishes more) is that takeout is usually just OK. But Nice Day has some of your favorite “American-Chinese” dishes done right. I believe Chef Lucas Sin is one of the owners of the chain - he’s a great chef and if he’s behind a restaurant, I trust it’s of high, or at least higher, quality. Nice Day Chinese in Plainview serves exceptional Chinese cuisine. Every dish is outstanding, with the soup dumplings standing out as some of the best around. I deliver regularly for many places but rarely try their food. This takeout is the way takeout used to be. I had the Cantonese Pineapple Chicken and the Soup Dumplings. Outstanding. You can definitely tell the difference when things are made in house from scratch. Please try this place!
