Terrific newcomer to Pleasantville, and really great to have Cajun / Creole food in the upper Westchester area. Just had one meal there so far but we ordered three different entrées two of which were terrific and the third was good, but nothing amazing. I got the seafood gumbo, which was really delicious . Very generous portions too. We also ordered an appetizer which was delicious, but I'm having trouble remembering what we got. I'm definitely planning to go back a couple more times and will update the review then with more specifics. Very nice and helpful wait staff.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food at Crawdaddy's Creole Kitchen. The jambalaya was excellent and the oyster poboy was delicious! Having eaten frequently at Galatoire's, Antoine's and Commanders Palace when I lived in New Orleans, I was hesitant as to whether this would be a "New York" version of Cajun/Creole cooking. What a wonderful surprise to find true southern cooking.

We had the hush puppies for appetizer, they were very dry, which was disappointing, would not order again. My wife had the crawfish Etouffe, she enjoyed it, but the crawfish were super small. I had the seafood gumbo, was tasty but the jumbo shrimp which should have been the star of the show were not cooked to my liking, a little chewy. Overall a decent meal but was expecting better from the reviews and prices.

Ate there for the third time tonight. The food is delicious. I usually eat the jambalaya, but tonight I ordered their shrimp and grits. It came with just a couple of tablespoons of grits under the shrimp! When I complained about the skimpy portion, the waitstaff brought me a whole bowl of grits--then had the nerve to charge me for it! Kinda peeved about it...

Ambience is great. Service could have been better. Asked to take food home and was given a box to load it myself. Had to ask for a bag to put it in. Since I am from New Orleans, I was greatly disappointed in the food. Nothing Cajun or creole about it. However, since most New Yorkers have never eaten real Creole food, they probably won't notice.

Had a spectacular lunch. Authentic N'awlins cuisine and amazing service. Had oyster po'boy, lobster mac, spinach salad, and crab/lobster soup. Every single dish outstanding in presentation and taste. Cannot wait to return.

The Food was very good but on the expensive side. The crab cakes were delicious. However, I thought they were stingy when I ordered an extra remoulade sauce for the popcorn shrimp fried basket. I was charged an extra 1.00 for the remoulade. The Riesling wine tasted warm and not fresh as if had been sitting around for a while. My husband had the Jambalaya which was very good and so was the service. The ambience was more like a New Orleans cafe.

Excellent and helpful staff. Restaurant is small and quite noisy. Our food was very good; howeever we thought the prices were high for casual

I absolutely loved this restaurant! There's nothing like this anywhere near here. My friend and I went here for lunch and had the best time. The jazzy background music lifted the mood and the decor gave a NOLA vibe. The wait staff were great, attentive but not overly so, leaving us to enjoy the meal and catch up on things. The food! So delicious ?. We started with a very generous popcorn shrimp appetizer with a yummy remoulade. Our entrees were crawfish etouffee and the chicken and andouille gumbo. Both were super flavorful and thoroughly enjoyed. Chicory coffee and beignets rounded it all out in a perfect way. We of course could not finish it all and will definitely appreciate the leftovers tomorrow. Highly recommend!

They’re doing it right!!! Obviously not many options when it comes to this cuisine in Westchester, few have tried and been unsuccessful. Having spent time in Louisiana annually for many years, I must say the food here is definitely authentic with a few welcome additional twists. The fact that they have Grilled Oysters, Crawfish, a full selection of Abita, Real Hurricanes, REAL Beignets and Cafe du Monde on the regular menu says they genuinely care about giving diners the most accurate New Orleans experience possible and are sparing no expense on ingredients. Definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood!!!!
