My husband and I really enjoyed the food at Crawdaddy's Creole Kitchen. The jambalaya was excellent and the oyster poboy was delicious! Having eaten frequently at Galatoire's, Antoine's and Commanders Palace when I lived in New Orleans, I was hesitant as to whether this would be a "New York" version of Cajun/Creole cooking. What a wonderful surprise to find true southern cooking.
Ate there for the third time tonight. The food is delicious. I usually eat the jambalaya, but tonight I ordered their shrimp and grits. It came with just a couple of tablespoons of grits under the shrimp! When I complained about the skimpy portion, the waitstaff brought me a whole bowl of grits--then had the nerve to charge me for it! Kinda peeved about it...

Very generous portions too. We also ordered an appetizer which was delicious, but I'm having trouble remembering what we got. I'm definitely planning to go back a couple more...read full review
