“This long time favorite continues on with great service and delicious food. Parking during the day is hit and miss but that aside for those of us who love a local red table cloth Italian with Italians at the helm DiMaggio's is it. One tip try the Lasagna and you will be hooked for life. Large menu and it is all delicious.“
“One of my favorite restaurants. Last week we were in Las Vegas, and every restaurant we went to my husband would say, nope not like Toscanini. So of course we had to go tonight for dinner as soon as we got back. Thanks Fred for a wonderful great meal & great service as always!“
“Delicious! Love the checked tablecloths, and old school decor. Greek salad is amazing, and the thin crust is spot on! Their baked pasta dishes are like grandmas! They come out piping hot with perfectly melty cheese! You won't be disappointed. The only thing I will say is don't get chicken on your pizza, it tends to be dry...happens. It's delish on the salad though.“
“Visiting town and really wanted some good local Italian food. I stopped here for a grilled chicken alfredo and was pleased to see it came with a side salad and some bread. Everything was delicious! Bonus: I've got enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow!“
“10/10 food, service, and atmosphere. Lamb chops to die for. Traditional Italian dishes that will leave your mouth watering. Cauliflower flower pizza is an amazing gluten free alternative. Absolutely love this place. We come all the way from manhattan, a must stop when in Long “
“There are so many great pizza places in Port Washington. Gino's is definitely one of the best. Love everything about their pizza. Great crust, rich pizza sauce, abundant choice of topping and oosy mozzarella cheese! Cash discount is so worth it for take out.“
“We came here for my husband's birthday with his family on a recent Friday night. If you want to be wined and dined, this is surely a nice Italian restaurant to make you feel like a VIP. From the moment you get out of your car, there is valet, to the moment you step inside the long foyer to claim your reservations, they take off your jacket for you, you know you have entered a different time in history, one of old world charm and hospitality. The restaurant itself is small, quaint and warm. The waiters, all men wearing black bow ties and pretty much can recite anything on the menu and beyond by heart in their thick cute Italian accents. Their specials of the day are overwhelming but I am pretty sure that is part of the fun. I ordered fish - it was saucy but good, came with side of veggies and mash potatoes. They come over with a dessert cart which makes it harder to say no to pick something, everything came with fresh whipped cream.“
“The food and service was excellent. The noise level though was beyond bearable. The music was so loud our party of 8 had to scream to each other to talk. It was not pleasant. Just turn it down a bit or don’t start the music until 9. While I would go back I’m hesitant to go for dinner.“
“We've been doing the Eastern Loop with SV Jenna's Journey and decided it was too hot to cook a decent meal in our galley where we were on the town moorings (an inexpensive option for those of you on a tight budget when away). The walk from the town dock drop off, along the Bay Walk Nautical Art Museum .. wow. While for some it might be a bit of a walk to Dirty Taco's .. it was well worth it. We did take the water taxi from the marina dock back to our mooring ball afterwards though, since it was getting dark. Win! Win! Greeted by the owner Phil and taken care of by the most wonderful Lexi ? (a cat lover like ourselves )and had the best meal, drinks, and wish they had a franchise back in my small town in Ontario. Her recommendations were spot on! The chef and wait staff there, couldn't ask for better service, making you feel welcome! You won't be disappointed (try their special IPA they maybe ? only served that night .. just ask), if you are a rush rush rush person, just be prepared to wait. Enjoy the scenery (great artwork ... I've shared a few in this review). Food is prepared fresh, and as a Type 1 Diabetic of almost 60 years (FatCatAnna is my ✒️pen name) .. my blood sugars stayed stable as I write this review .. 5.3 / 95!“
